Dr Michael and staff is the bomb.com. Very nice front desk, lots of parking and I felt very listened to with my skin concerns. Annual exams are very thorough and he points out areas of concern with their technical name - doc obviously knows what he's talking about. I love this doc and staff, 10 stars for patient care!!

I have to give a huge thank you to Dr Michael and Dermatology of North Asheville for the excellent care received today. Suffering for weeks not knowing what kind of rash or fungal infection I was dealing with ended in immense relief like I was given a new lease on life!!!. They were able to fit me in, diagnosis and treatment and testing in house. I was incredibly grateful it brought me to tears! There are still excellent professionals here for us in our community!

I wasn’t happy with the level of care overall, but getting in with a derm is a difficult process, so I stayed with this office. The last conversation I had with the doctor, he said for me to schedule as I needed because he didn’t even think I needed to be seen yearly. I call for a checkup and evidently have 2 no-shows listed and they’re requiring a payment to come back. Needless to say, I’m not paying that for care that I didn’t even feel supported in to begin with. This office has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

If you’re looking to go in, get diagnosed and medicated — then this is the place for you. It felt like I received a good short-term plan but not a long-term one. I’m not looking to be on medication for the rest of my life at 24 years old. I think they are a great practice, but I’ll be going somewhere that takes more time with its patients and a holistic a view at the issue.

I am reposting this review as it has suddenly disappeared, so this clinic is paying to have bad reviews removed! I had skin cancer removed at this clinic two years ago. the scar is atrocious and crooked as if the surgeon never took a sewing class. he was very clear that I would have a big scar, but some people can do a good job sewing and some cannot. this one can't. MORE POIGNANTLY, the doctor handed bloody instruments across my body to the nurse who placed them on the surgical table they located directly in front of my face (I was laying on my side). the huge chunk of flesh they removed from me was also placed upon the tray just inches from my eyeballs. while it was medically interesting to see a deep section of my flesh, (and informative for why it was so painful and the side of my body now cinched much tighter, it seems like an incredible oversight to not consider how the patient would feel about bloody tissue and instruments on display. why wasn't the nurse standing next to the doctor? why wasn't or the surgical tray placed by my knees or feet? basic common sense is lacking. beware.

I love this practice and have had, over many years, consistently EXCELLENT experiences with Dr. Hutchin and his staff. I trust them to care for and advise me as they would their own family members. Rather than feel stress, I feel confidence, support, and joy when I'm there! I have referred a number of friends and clients to this practice and they all feel as I do: Dr. Hutchin and his crew can't be beat. I have no doubt that Dr. Michael is the perfect addition to this stellar team!

Dr.Michael was amazing, helped me navigate all potential routes while explaining each option with their pros and con. He was direct ,amicable and an expert in the field at least from my point of view.All the staff working with him and the practice have been very very helpful in helping me get the care and medication I needed. Definitely a dermatologist I would recommend .
