Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - West Arbor

First time Doctor Visit went fine. First time Checking out… horrible experience. Patiently waited at Check-out window until woman gossiping was finished gossiping who then told me to check-out at the front desk…went to the front desk where I was cut in line twice and told to wait in line once I addressed being cut twice "in line". Do better this experience could have been avoided. Something so simple as checking out should not have been so complicated.

DR.Benjamin Kaplan is my primary care doctor. He is such a wonderful doctor. He cares for his patients' well being. The nurses Melanie and Debbie are so nice. I am very thankful for the doctors and nurses, front desk and the whole clinic 🙏 .

I visited the urgent care at this location and had a great experience. They were going close in 40 minutes but we didn't feel like we were rushed in a bad way. We received great care from all, the Dr. was very thorough with examining my daughters toe injury and she made sure we understood the future care well. I believe we were only there for an hour and a half on a Saturday afternoon.

I'm extremely disappointed in my visit to Trinity Health West Arbor. I went as a new patient, expecting to conduct my annual physical and do routine blood work. Only after the appointment was i informed this was not a physical, but rather an 'office visit' and that all of the 'routine covered annual blood work' was actually going to be billed in full because it 'couldn't be a physical.' Therefore, I was unable to use my insurance. When i called to rectify this, i was met with extremely rude comments about how i just don't understand the medical system (which sure, it's confusing, but i still don't know why i was given all these routine check up tests that i didn't need if they weren't going to be covered). The care was good, and i appreciated the doctor, but i'm very sad in how the billing was handled and then had to struggle to make payments for what i was told was covered routine work.

The billing department is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. They overcharged me 2.5 times more than my copay for all of my visits. Once I finally realized the mistakes and asked to be reimbursed, they said it wasn’t possible. Additionally, all of the good doctors have left this facility, probably due to poor leadership. If you care about your and your family’s health and well-being, take them somewhere else!

Removed me as a patient a day before I was supposed to have a procedure done. No explanation, just a good luck. This doctors office is a joke. Definitely don't go to this office. Find somewhere else. The doctors don't care about making you better, they just want your money! Edit: I also asked for a referral to go see a therapist, and they canceled my appointment and my patient status. Because I wanted to get therapy. This is not the place to go if you're looking for mental health help

I made an appointment here and gave them my insurance and they sent me a "prepay" bill of over 300 dollars. I called to figure out what was going on and they can't figure out my blue cross blue shield ppo coverage and said "maybe they can figure it out when you come to the office" then I asked if I show up and they can't figure it out will I receive a bill and they said "yes". Stay far away from these lazy scam artists.
