Dr. Kathrin F. Laing, MD

Dr. Laing is a wonderful person and doctor. When I changed insurance and wound up with Dr. Laing I had a very positive experience - she listened to my concerns and took the time to explain things carefully, offer treatment options, and even checked in to make sure I had set up my follow-up appointments. She cares deeply about her patients and treated me with the utmost respect. I had previously been to another dermatologist who had brushed aside my questions and concerns and rushed through my appointment - Dr. Laing and her staff were helpful and patient and helped me to keep my skin healthy!

Dr. Lang has been my wife’s and my dermatologist for about the last 10 years. After my University of Michigan doctor had seen her as a new patient, he recommended her so highly and urged me to see her for the most thorough exam imaginable, I went to see her --- he did not exaggerate. No dermatologist I had seen before had ever given me an exam that was more than ten percent as complete as Dr. Lang’s exam. When she is examining you, it is clear you have 100 percent of her attention, and her exam covers every square inch of your body. I believe that she is completely committed to doing as complete a job scanning you as is humanly possible. In addition, Dr. Lang is friendly and supportive and willing to discuss in detail any concerns that you may have.

We moved to Ann Arbor and changed Dermatologists. Dr. Laing and staff have exceeded our expectations. Dr. Laing is so mindful of the patient and his/her concerns. She works diligently to insure that the patient is treated with dignity and respect. In addition, she explains any issues that arise and is reasonable in her prognosis and follow-up.

Dr. Kathy Laing has been my dermatologist for the past 23 years. She diagnosed my melanoma on my first visit and has been my physician ever since. She is attentive, empathetic, compassionate and caring. She is an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable and advocates for her patients. Dr. Laing is intelligent, skilled and willing to tailor her care to meet patient needs. She and her office are very organized and conscientious. Her personal work ethic is manifested in her patient care and in the manner in which her office performs. Dr. Laing’s dermatology practice sets the bar for excellence in our area! She is thorough and so kind and I feel safe with her proficient monitoring of my derm health. She is the Queen Bee and I have been under her care most of my adult life and have yet to experience skin management that even comes close to what is offered by her clinic. I have been going toDr Kathy Laing for over 20 years. I have NEVER had a negative experience. Her exams are thorough and she is very professional. She always listens and supports any concerns I have. Her staff is friendly and is run like a well oiled machine. They too are kind, patient and professional. The office requires masks, which I appreciate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Laing's for 6 years. She is most attentive and patient when we are in conversation. She looks at you when she speaks. Dr. Laing brings a cheerful attitude that is quite appreciated. When I have had procedures, she not her staff call me as a follow up. It just doesn't get better than this.
