Salt Lake Smiles

I want to start by saying, this is the best dental office you could ever find. My previous dentist was a nightmare and it made my anxiety towards dental work insane and I eventually quit going. I knew I had some work to do, so I decided to give Dr. O a try. The staff is kind and compassionate, and understanding of any anxiety you may have and they give you a handful of options to manage your anxiety. Once I met with Dr. O my entire outlook on going to the dentist changed. He is very gentle, very nice, and explains everything he's doing, and how it's going to be done. I could go on and on about how fantastic he is and his staff. If you are looking for a dentist you won't find a place better than this.

I recently moved here from out of state and was so nervous about finding a new dentist. I’m so glad I decided to give Dr. O a try! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming, and Dr. O himself is absolutely amazing! Very professional, gentle, and genuinely caring. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt at ease during my visit. If you’re looking for an incredible dentist who really goes above and beyond, go see Dr. O! You’ll be so glad you did.

Love Dr. O! He has done more for my teeth than any other dentist i have ever had. He fixed errors from my previous fillings from another Dr on my front teeth. It made my smile so much better. Great Dentist!

I haven’t even had the full procedure done yet, but I can confidently say this place stands out. When I called, every other office told me they couldn’t fit me in, even though I was dealing with a severe toothache that ended up being an abscess. The woman who answered the phone here made sure I was seen that same day, and this wasn’t even an emergency clinic. From the moment I walked in, the experience was completely different from what I’m used to. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and seemed to truly care about the patients. The office was clean, organized, and well maintained. Even though they were busy, I was seen quickly and never felt rushed or overlooked. I’m the type of person who avoids medical and dental offices unless I absolutely have to, but this visit changed my outlook. I didn’t know a dental office could feel this comfortable, positive, and supportive. If I have to go anywhere for dental care, it will be here. The concern and care they showed felt real, not just routine. Highly recommended.

The BEST dental clinic. You won’t find a more caring and professional staff anywhere. Dr Osterhoudt is very talented and takes his work very serious. He truly cares about his patients and providing the best dental care. I can’t recommend Salt Lake Smiles enough.

I had such a great experience with Dr. O and the entire team. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. They were kind, professional, and truly cared about my comfort and well-being. Dr. O and Assistant did an outstanding job gentle, thorough, and highly skilled. I felt listened to, respected, and fully informed every step of the way. It’s not always easy to feel relaxed at the dentist, but they made it possible! I’m really grateful to have found a dental office that combines professionalism with genuine warmth. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch care.

Had to get a root canal and crown done. Paid out-of-pocket and the dentist didn’t properly fit my crown to my tooth from day one and knew so the second he put it on. Now they will not fix it since it’s been over three years. I put it off, Yes that’s my fault but it hasn’t fit properly since day one and that’s something that could cause major infection and issues and they now will not fix it at all for me. Reading reviews I am not the only one who has experienced this!! I’ve been told by other dentist this should be covered and fixed. Do not recommend This place as I look at it as a lazy service. The phone girl also had horrible customer service and zero interest in my frustrations. I will definitely share my experience with other people in hopes no one else goes here.
