Professional Dental in West Jordan

I'm extremely disappointed in the behavior I witnessed at this clinic. While waiting, I overheard a staff member telling colleagues that they weren't allowed to speak Spanish while working. This policy seemed incredibly racist and created a hostile environment. As someone who values diversity and inclusivity, I was appalled by this incident. If this clinic truly supports racist policies, I would advise others to seek care elsewhere

The dentists and staff are great, but when you call in. The calls are screened by a central operator service and with an infection concern. It took 4 full days to get a call back and when they did call back they asked for my husband, based on the caller ID rather than the message provided to the operator. They need to work on this process as a direct to office contact is a must, and not by demanding to speak with office directly.

Dr Packer is amazing! We trust his experience and judgement. He takes excellent care of our teeth.

Professional Dental is amazing! I’ve been to both their Bluffdale and West Jordan locations and had great experiences both times. Michelle, Dr. Fry, and the receptionists are warm and welcoming and make you feel at home. If you’re looking for a new dental provider I highly recommend giving Professional Dental in West Jordan a shot, you won’t regret it!

Went in to this office driving all the way from Orem for an emergency situation the week of Thanksgiving in 2024 due to not being able to get a hold of my personal dentist. Extreme pain in two teeth and it was determined that a root canal would be necessary. I remember thinking that the procedure was extremely rushed (done in about 30 minutes or less) and the surface of the tooth was very rough afterwards. The bill was VERY large, even after insurance. I was able to get an appointment with my personal dentist a couple weeks later and the filling was redone properly so the surface was smooth on both teeth. My dentist did not charge me for this since I wasn't able to reach his emergency line the week of Thanksgiving. During my next cleaning appt with my dentist, they took xrays and discovered that the tooth with the root canal was showing signs of decay under the tooth. A few months later I came in to re-check it and the decay got worse. Essentially the root canal failed. I was referred to an endodontist and advised that I should request a refund from Professional Dental, which I requested that same day. A month later, after many phone calls (with unkept promises that I'd receive a callback), I was informed that the request for a refund was denied. I had provided evidence and a testimony from my endodontist that the root was not properly cleaned out, and they still refused. I now have to pay over $1000 out of my own pocket to get this root canal redone. My dentist told me himself if he were the one who had done the root canal he would have refunded me in a heartbeat. His practice is Artisan Dental for those curious. I highly recommend going there instead. Not to mention I was informed by my dentist that Professional Dental charged for upgrades on every single possible item without consulting me first. So thanks for that.

I recently visited Dr. Jae for a dental evaluation and a surface posterior treatment, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely comforting. Dr. Jae took the time to explain everything clearly, and I felt completely at ease during the procedure. At the end, he explained what i should do to prevent future damages and things i should do for better dental health.
