Neighborhood Smile Dental Care

I had an appointment scheduled for over a month. And the day before my appointment they call to tell me they have to cancel because my authorizations timed out. They didnt call me during this month. Or put in new authorize during this time. And now im left with a broken and swollen tooth with nowhere to go to take care. This is absolutely unacceptable and terrible customer service. Please remedy this situation.

I went in for a routine check-up with no pain or discomfort, but the dentist said I had cavities that needed to be filled. After the procedure, I began experiencing consistent pain and bleeding in the treated area—something I never had before. I returned for a follow-up, but the discomfort has continued. I also scheduled a second appointment but forgot the time. I called the office and left multiple voicemails to confirm or reschedule, but I never received a call back. At this point, I’ve decided to seek care from a different dentist. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office. Poor post-procedure care and lack of basic communication made this a stressful and disappointing experience.

The building was great, I love the restored old house. The staff was friendly and competent. The Dr was very kind and straightforward. I felt that the experience was better than I’ve had at other dentist offices. Also liked the technology used during the deep cleaning. I’ve never had it done that way and appreciated the attention to care and detail.

I would highly recommend this establishment one hundred percent!!!! I’ve had bad experiences in the past with getting cleaning and I made that clear. I’m bad with names but the female dentist that attended me put my fears at ease. She was wonderful she suggested we do the cleaning in 2 sessions so it would be less stressful. I came back for the 2nd cleaning with no reservations knowing I was in great hands. In 20mins I was in and out pain free. The ladies in the front office are great as well, overall this place the BEST!!! You will not be disappointed if you come here.

I have mixed feelings towards this place now. I’ve been going for a couple of years and I love the hygienists who clean my teeth every 6 months but Dr. Butay is not so pleasant. Even though he has been looking into my mouth for years he thought now would be a good time to tell me I should get braces. Nothing has changed with my teeth, they wouldn’t even take any x rays because of my good track record. When I responded that it was odd that he has never told me before he immediately changed demeanor and made sure it was noted in my file that it is his recommendation I get braces. It was very unprofessional. I also want to note the receptionists can be very rude and dismissive but I’ve been ignoring them for the most part. I am now considering finding another dentist.

I went to Neighborhood Smile for an emergency appointment as a new patient. I saw Dr Butay, he was very helpful and very nice! The whole office staff was pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be returning for regular routine visits!

My teens and I agree Neighborhood Smile gave us the best dentist experience thus far. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our dentist was spectacular. The location and office is extremely beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend this dentist to any parent. I’m very thankful for the time that they took to help us through the appointment.
