Dr. Schmidt is a fantastic doctor. He is a very knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding doctor. I have serious drug reactions, so I can not take the usual drugs for surgeries or pain, so I got to see a side of Dr. Schmidt that other patients don't usually get to see, since I was awake for 4 different dental surgeries, he is very good at what he does and very caring of his patients. I highly recommend this doctor. Sarah was his assistant for all 4 dental surgeries, she was fantastic as well.

Dr. Schmidt went to great lengths to treat my poor dental condition: all the more commendable, since I have to undergo open heart surgery to replace a defective valve, in a couple weeks. I needed the teeth extraction before my heart surgery. I am happy to write that, Dr. Schmidt, a fellow native Pittsburgher, is helping to save my life (as he brings new life into the world with the birth of his child this weekend).

Dr John Schmidt is excellent!! My son had his 4 wisdom teeth removed by him. He explained the process and asked my concerns. He even walked my son to the car and called hours later to check on him. Great experience! ☺️
