Zhu Jian-Fu DDS

Dr. Zhu is an AMAZING pediatric dentist! It's SO difficult finding a dentist that not only accepts children with special needs as patients, but shows them such care and kindness! My son has become a better paitent thanks to Dr. Zhu and his staff and my daughter actually looks forward to her appointments! If you're looking for a safe space for your kiddos, special needs or no, THIS is where you need to be!

Dr. Zhu is amazing with both of my special needs children. We travel 2 hours each way for their appointments and it’s worth every mile. Recently my Son was crying for two days, when we realized he had an abscess I called his Emergency Number on Mother’s Day and Dr. Zhu answered. He sent a prescription for antibiotics into our pharmacy and told us to come in Tuesday morning. Dr. Zhu has to sedate my son before any dental work can be done. He is very patient and explains every part of the process very well. He knows my son is a screamer so he suggested to another parent that they could wait in the car so that their child wouldn’t have a negative experience and be scared. I love that Dr. Zhu is compassionate and considerate of all his patients. My son is back to feeling like himself again. Dr. Zhu even fit it my daughters cleaning so that we didn’t have to travel back for another appointment. I have referred Dr. Zhu to several of my fellow parents of special needs children over the years and will continue to do so.

Dr. Zhu is a wonderful dentist! He is so kind and patient with my 12-year-old son, who is Autistic and has a lot of anxiety when it comes to doctors in general. I have been taking him there for 3 yrs now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. My son is 19 now and has aged out, but THAT is the only reason we have stopped going to Dr. Zhu. He continued to be a wonderful dentist to my son. We saw him every 6 months, and under his care, my son never had a cavity! Thank you, Dr. Zhu for making my sons experience easier and easier and helping him gain trust in receiving good dental care. We appreciate all you have done, and we will miss you!!! 🤗

Dr. Zhu is a great dentist! He is very nice and shows great care in his work. I take my kids here for all their dental needs. I highly recommend his practice for any parent looking for one for their child.

Dr. Zhu came in when they were closed to be sure my daughter wasn't going to lose her tooth. He sees my older daughter and is very professional and tells you step by step what he doing! Highly recommend!

My daughter had a tooth extracted. Dr. Zhu gave about 8-10 anesthetic shots on my daughter's gum, without waiting for the medicine to kick in, Dr. Zhu pulled my daughter's molar a few SECONDS after the anesthetic injection. My daughter was in severe pain immediately. It was traumatic for both my daughter and me. The anesthetic needs a few minutes to set in. Even I asked Dr. Zhu to wait, he shook his head and told me he did not need to wait. It was not different from pulling out my daughter's tooth without any anesthesia. I will never ever go back to his office again. It was a ridiculous dental malpractice.

My daughter had a severe abscess and infected tooth with eight cavities. I know!!! Dr Zhu made room in his schedule to accommodate us. He explained every detail, which I'm an ER nurse so it wasn't necessary. Told my daughter everything. Allowed me to sit with her which I didn't ask for. He took care of everything in an hour. Another dentist wanted to do it in 8 visits!!!! I'm so grateful. I wouldn't want my daughter to go through 8 visits. Two days later, my daughter is absolutely fine and feels wonderful. Thank you Dr Zhu for caring!
