Easily the worst customer service experience of my life. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Walmart regarding a dresser I purchased online that broke within a few months. It is covered by warranty for up to one year which all customer service reps agree on. This should be a simple fix of a refund or replacement. Instead we waisted three hours of our Sunday driving 45 minutes, and attempting to get this resolved with multiple reps and phone calls. We finally left without a refund or new dresser. After trying to resolve the issue I filed a complaint. I was then contacted by the night time manager and was told that I needed to drive 45 minutes AGAIN and that he could handle the replacement — despite the fact that the dresser is not being carried in stores (the clerk confirmed this Sunday). This is completely unreasonable and unacceptable. Walmart should ship a replacement or refund defective items instead of wasting customers’ time, money, and effort. The fact that a large corporation cannot simply refund a defective purchase is mind-blowing. Offer a gift card if you have to! Other retailers like Amazon or Costco would immediately accommodate a customer in this situation. This has been a huge inconvenience, and I strongly advise Walmart to improve their customer service and refund policies. This is the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced and I will tell everyone I know to never shop at Walmart again.
After this past Wednesday, I don’t think I will ever shop at Walmart again. I initially went there to pick up a Christmas tree and some decorations, which was fine. When I went inside the store, I picked up a few more things for dinner. It was crowded, which is to be expected at Walmart, so I didn’t mind that. The following day, when I decided to make myself a cup of coffee, I poured coffee creamer into my cup and a huge chunk of spoiled creamer ended up in my drink. I had to throw the entire cup out. I am disgusted, to say the least, because this isn’t the first time I’ve purchased spoiled items from Walmart. I contacted someone through their corporate website to express my concern. I let them know that I wasn’t sure if they were doing any quality control, but I never received a follow-up email regarding my complaint. After this experience, I am not a happy camper. I don’t like spending money on products that I can’t use, especially something I want in my coffee. For any grocery shopping I need to do in the future, I would rather go somewhere else. I will never shop at Walmart again; this experience was horrific. I’m not trying to call anyone out, but I honestly believe that management is not doing any quality control. If they were, my creamer should not have come out in chunks.
Busy but no waiting for people to come unlock the cases I needed items from. Had a decent selection of clothing, but none of the pants I originally wanted were available in my size. I was able to find suitable substitutions though.
Pathetic workforce. Let me paint the picture for you, my baby has been waking up every 30 minutes for past 3 nights. I haven’t had more than 12 hours sleep in 4 days. I finally get my kid down for a nap and have about 1 hour to do my errands. I go to Walmart to get formula. I press the assistance button in front of the locked formula section. It flashes and says someone will be right with me. The button then stops flashing and I wait a bit and no one comes. So I assume I need to press the button again because once it stops flashing maybe it no longer alerts the workers that help is needed in that section. I repeat this 3 times. No one shows. I walk and find three ladies in the clothing section. They’re talking to each other and don’t even look in my direction. I finally interject and say "I’m sorry can you please send someone to the formula section, I’m not sure if the button is working". She radios someone to come. I go back over there. I wait 7 minutes and no one shows, a security guard walks by and sees me standing there and asks if I need help. I say yes and he radios someone and says they’ll be two minutes. 4 minutes later, one of the ladies that barely gave me the time of day earlier comes right from the aisle she was in when I spoke to her before. Were they just letting me waiting because I pressed the help button too many times? I don’t know. But man, if you hate your job that much just quit and don’t suck up a tired mom’s entire 45 minutes of freedom.
Seemed to be short staffed, usually it's difficult to find someone to help you. Prices are competitive. Good for everyday stuff but not for formalwear. Staff is pleasant ,(when you find them). Long lineups for the Cashier, quite a few self serve stations for those who are in a hurry.
I had a Great experience Having the Supervisor assisting me with the shopping, I never thought I will get to shop that much as I was just looking at the items as I was new in that area, this supervisor showed me most of the Sales items and I was so amazed that I ended up needing another push cart😁 Thnka you supervisor You're the Best 👌
Walmart was interesting. A plethera of customers and employees as expected 3 days before Christmas. My head scarf accidentally slipped and had to step out of line to retrace my steps but thankfully I found it. Wasn't impressed with Customer service from Nikita however I understand with long lines and 2 or 3 lanes open and rest doing Curbside pick up, there is less time to genuinely engage with the local or travelling guests. Meant to give feedback to Nicole who was the manager on duty but this will work. Keep up the good work. Its a huge Walmart, not the neighborhood one and looked adequately staffed. I couldn't do what yall do. I would advise maybe not have so many of them focused on scanning with those phones all throughout when cashiers are needed. Happy New Year. Looking forward to my next shopping experience.
