Daiso - Japanese Household Goods

This was my first and last time in this store. I was a bit disappointed. Customer service was bad and the prices were misleading. Items that did not have a price I assumed would be $2.25 but was charged 4 times the amount only to find out after checking out and looking at my receipt. 2 mins after check out I was told that I could not return these items and get my money back. I felt like I was scammed, 25 small items for almost 100 dollars. Ridiculous! I will not be returning. I ask for corporate number but they refuse. Oh well...I will spend my money elsewhere.

Daiso is a Japanese discount store that offers unique and specialty products. Yesterday, I stopped by the store to look around things. The store was very clean and well organized. They had little cute things that caught my eyes. Their price was low. Most of the products were $1.50 unless it was marked . They offered the low price, but the quality of the products were good. They had various products, which were household products, cleaning products, dishes, plates,bowls, snacks, foods, snacks, decorations things, kitchen items, ribbons & many more. I bought cute chopped sticks, ribbons & Japanese vinegar. And I got some drink too. I enjoyed looking around this Daiso Japanese discount store.

Love the stuff they have especially for the prices. The cleaning supplies are amazing. They had the photographed scraper. I had to use it to remove very old drawer liner that ripped into small really stuck pieces. It worked great. They also have Lil brushes that are really good at cleaning between the faucet knob and the faucet itself. They have gift wrap and bags, coin purses, reusable shopping bags, socks, school supplies, arts and crafts supplies, camping supplies, kitchen utensils, storage containers, stickers, yard and gardening supplies, toys, pet supplies, snacks and some food, cold drinks, bathroom and hygiene supplies. Best of all it starts at $1.50.

I feel like this daiso location has cheaper prices than the other surrounding locations. This store was very clean there was a lot of employees stocking items on the shelf. Also helped that there was self checkout to purchase items, I feel like that made the transaction smoother.

Delightful store. Well-stocked, well run and well managed. Ofelia, an assistant manager, is courteous, customer focused and knowledgeable. She obviously enjoys her work and brings a fun and engaging attitude to the store. All of the staff add to a wonderful atmosphere and shopping experience. You’ll be happy to have stopped by!
