I was looking to establish dental care in Thousand Oaks and decided to try this office. From the moment I arrived, I felt really safe and comfortable. They took X-rays and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. I also had a cleaning and they did a very thorough job — gentle and detailed. I was taken back on time, and afterward they walked me through my options since I have a cavity. They also talked about prevention and scheduled my next cleaning. I can tell this is a well-run office that truly cares about its patients. I love their whole-body approach and focus on wellness. Up front they even have great books like Breath by James Nestor (which encourages nose breathing over mouth breathing and explains how mouth breathing can contribute to dry mouth, cavities, and poor sleep) and The Dental Diet, which says a lot about the philosophy of the office. Overall, it’s a very welcoming environment with kind, gentle, and thoughtful staff. Highly recommend!

These are remarkable dentists, but my last situation has really shown how impressive this practice is. Had a crown fall off an implant abutment late on a Friday night. I called the office because I didn’t know what else to do. To my amazement Jackie texted to reassure me that something will be worked out. Sure enough Jackie called me early Saturday morning to tell me to come in at 8 AM Monday morning. I did and Dr. Hong fixed everything. Just like that. How amazing things were so smooth.

Normally I am scared to go to the dentist, but these people treated me so nicely, so I felt almost comfortable. I needed to get my crown replaced. Everything went very well. I am very happy with the care I received.

The staff at Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry are friendly and knowledgeable and the office is extremely clean, peaceful, and state of the art! The hygienists do a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and always make sure to ask if I have questions for the dentist. Another bonus is that I have never waited for more than 5 minutes for my appointment. Everyone from the front desk to the dentists are amazing. It is so clear that patient experience is their top priority- if you're looking for a great dentist, try them out!

I can highly recommend Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry. I have a lot of anxiety around dental visits, and the team at this office is compassionate and kind. They answered all my questions and explained the procedures in detail, checking in with me frequently during the visit to see how I was feeling. Also loved the ability to watch/listen to streaming content during the procedures - great way to soothe and distract. The admin staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Kari! This is a professional and friendly dental practice.

My family and I have been going to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry for a few years now. Everyone in the office is very professional but also kind. It is clear that they all care about what they do and how they treat people, both clients and colleagues. They provide top-of-the-line service and high quality material. It's rare to find such an amazing group of individuals who truly listen and care for their clients, and provide the best of themselves during their work. My teeth have never looked or felt better! I highly recommend them.

I am glad that google gives us the option of doing a Best Ever Rating and am happy to give it to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry! The people at Thousand Oaks Dentistry are all very friendly and efficient. I had no waiting time, no paperwork to fill out (all electronic). The office was clean, efficient and honest. I have been to several other dentists in the past that have told me that I needed major work done and cavities filled. I opted not to get it done, came to TO Family Dentistry and was told that no work needed to be done. From the front desk, Greg and Maggie were fantastic and Dr. Katie was very personable, professional and thorough with the cleaning. Keep up the good work!
