Los Robles General & Cosmetic Dental Center

This was probably the most unpleasant experience with a dental practice I've ever had. It wasn't related to any surgery or cleaning because it never got that far. I called and made my first visit appointment and confirmed they accepted my Blue Shield dental insurance, they did. Upon arriving the place looked very nice and I was told to have a seat. While sitting there for 15-20 minutes I was listening to the girl that had just checked me in cold calling one person after another to get them to come in. It sounded by her choice of words that most of these people haven't been in in some time and had moved on to another dentist. She made it sound like they were in danger and "We've tried calling you ___ times and we need a call back" or they had seen something on their last visit that was of concern. It came across as though the office was desperate for work and someone had told her to "Call everyone and get them in here!". This you would think was something they would do in an office in the back where people in the waiting room couldn't hear. It was very odd and I soon found out why people weren't calling them back. After getting into an exam room, the hygienist did all the x-rays and told me the dentist would be in shortly. When she (Mojgan Hashemi) arrived, she laid out this whole big plan of attack. I told them again that I was just there for a cleaning and that if my insurance wouldn't cover it, that I would have to pass. She then said that they would have to reschedule me for the "Insurance covered" cleaning because they didn't have time that day, so I went back up front and scheduled the 2nd visit. 2nd visit: I get into the exam room and the hygienist sits down and proceeds to polish my teeth. Since when do they start with the last thing first? I'm thinking. She ends and says she'll be right back, she has to show the Dentist (Mojgan Hashemi) something. They both come back and Mojgan says it looks like you have a cavity. Wow that's news to me. I didn't of course and she then says that they can't proceed with anything more until I have the big elaborate treatment plan that costs $$$$ (that isn't covered by my insurance). Really? I said "Okay I'm guess I'm done here and thank you for wasting another one of my days off." and I walked out. I still to this day almost two years later get texts and calls from them just like the ones I heard that first day when I was in the waiting room.

This place is honestly the best place to go when you need help with your oral hygiene. I've gone to several dentists and I was happy with them but once I came to Los Robles General and Cosmetic Dental Center I knew that I had found the perfect place and there was no need to look no further. If your looking for the best dentistry I recommend everyone to check out Los Robles General and Cosmetic Center. You will not regret it, they treat you like family and make you feel comfortable.

Dr Hashemi gives me excellent care to .helps me maintain healthy teeth. She is kind and caring and very patient. Her excellent staff are efficient and very friendly.

Dr. Hashemi‘s office is always welcoming, from the front office folks to the X-ray techs and those making molds of my teeth. They have delivered exceptionally good looking crowns and bridges, truly earning the Beautiful Smile logo. I am a challenging patient for any Dentist with extreme sensitivity in my gums. And the doc has always made sure I am Not in pain while working on my teeth. Respectful, gentle, and A beautiful result. Makes me keep smiling.

I am visiting Thousand Oaks from out of state and was experiencing severe tooth pain. Dr. Hashemi and her team were excellent in diagnosing and treating the infection I was experiencing. I can’t recommend them strongly enough!

I always have a great experience at Los Robles. Even though I live pretty far away, I still make the trip because the care is just that good. The dental hygienist was super gentle and made the whole cleaning really easy and comfortable. The doctor is so caring and amazing. She always takes the time to explain things and make sure you feel at ease. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming, which makes it totally worth the drive.
