MY Dental Place: Mary Anne Yu, DMD

Ive been going to Dr. Yu’s for about 2 years now for cleaning and routine dental health. I’ve had a very positive experience: easy scheduling and professional care. Dr. Yu, Gilbert, and Dr. Ray are fantastic people and motivated me to floss. Would recommend MY Dental Place to friends and family.

I had my wisdom tooth extracted here and the job is very clean. They also accept Cigna and wouldn't sell unnecessary procedures to you. 5 out of 5.

Life changing dentist experience. I've always had a bad relationship with my teeth/dentists and went in pretty anxious but immediately felt way better about it all after my visit. Warm receptionist, explained all the costs and what my insurance covered. Very friendly, gentle, kind hygienist really explained everything to me about the process/my teeth and minimized any physical discomfort. Dentist also explained my x rays, her thought process in diagnosing, and advised me without being judgmental/mean.

I came to clean my teeth today. The whole process was very efficient. Dr. Yu is professional and gives honest opinion about my situation. The staffs are also kind and friendly. Last but not least, very reasonable price for all these good services

Dr. Yu and her team are absolutely amazing! Ray, the hygienist was so thorough and yet gentle. Dr. Yu demonstrates deep expertise in her field and puts patient needs first. She doesn't push procedures unless they are necessary. I switched dentists recently, and I am so glad I did!

Great dentist, very caring and professional! Update (6/26/2021) I moved to Oakland but I still go here every 6 months for dental check-up because they're that great. I recently went there and there was a new person working there as Dr Mary's assistant. Let me tell you -- that was THE painless and cleanest session I've ever had! I feel bad that I don't remember his name, but I was so impressed with his technique that there was almost no drop of my saliva that came out of my mouth! And, it was the least pain I've ever felt. Great dentist clinic that keeps getting better!

If I could, I would give Dr. Yu a 10 stars. She is kind, caring, trustworthy, and very professional. I had my tooth crown made by one day fast service but so out of shape of my original. Caused me pain for over two years and no Dr. would correct the mistake even the Dr. made the crown. She adjusted the bite more than 7 times before the pain finally was gone. When other Dr. wants to pull out my tooth, Dr. Yu suggested me not pull out and tried to save it. And after 5 months, it was 11 mm deep pocket, now the packet went away. I am so pleased and happy about the saved tooth. I had referred some of friends to her and friends referred their friends or relatives, they all continue doing so. Everyone I checked, they are all pleased with Dr. Yu. If you are concerned about ethics of Dentists, live close by, then try her. She does not need more patients, but here is for those who have lost hope for their existing dentists.
