NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE, PLEASE !! I SO REGRET IT. From the uncovered/exposed equipment with residue on it before the patient (which unfortunately was me) walks in, to the highly inaccurate estimate (their fault), which they blame on the patient and WILL NOT make any effort to correct. I regret for SO MANY reasons not turning around and walking out that day. Cassandra, the office manager I assume, was not in any way helpful nor pleasant, and I pretty much had to fight to even get the 700+ dollar bill split into two payments when leaving, when I was expecting to pay less than half of that based on the estimate. When my husband and I called today to discuss the matter, it was a very unpleasant and discourteous experience. I felt treated like garbage as a patient by the office staff. PLUS, since you get charged $61 per hour if you cancel within 72 hours, but they send you the estimate the day before she made sure she noted, what is someone supposed to do anyway!!? But when I saw the $700+ that last visit, I assumed it was the full total. That actually is close to what they had provided me in writing initially FOR THE WHOLE PROCESS OF A DEEP CLEANING AND FILLINGS AFTER INSURANCE! So for the last visit it was about $710 when for the whole service It was supposed to be $752. So I am not needing the office to shove it in my face telling me "well you signed it" or "why would you sign it". I was late running into the office and I assumed when I agreed to the services, I was given accurate information, and that the 700+ was likely the whole total. It was NOT. And there wasn't more work done to increase the total, it was just bad information that you're expected to abide by. The female dentist and the hygienist were kind I will say, but everything else... was a terrible experience- DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY REASON !!

I had an excellent experience at Smile Center Silicon Valley with Dr. Kim. They performed X-rays, photos, and a very specific evaluation to check the condition of one of my front teeth. Dr. Kim was thorough, gentle, and clear in her explanations, which gave me a great sense of reassurance. Her professionalism and the quality of the entire team were evident throughout the visit. The staff was also very kind, and the facilities were spotless. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for trustworthy and high-quality dental care.

Excellent Service and Top-Notch Dentist I've been a patient at this dental clinic for 3 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Dr. John is an incredibly skilled and caring dentist. During every appointment, he takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly and ensure I understand what's going on. His gentle touch and patience put even the most anxious patients at ease. Dr. John's expertise is top-notch, he catches any potential issues early and his work is meticulous. I've had everything from routine cleanings to fillings done, and the results have always been outstanding. The clinic itself is clean, modern and bright. They offer convenient hours and flexible scheduling to accommodate busy schedules. I also appreciate that they provide reminders for upcoming appointments. Overall, I cannot recommend this dental clinic enough, especially if you have the chance to be treated by the wonderful Dr. John. They provide the highest quality of care with a personal, caring touch.

If you're looking for a new dentist, here is my advice: this is not your new dentist. Something has to change. Not good bedside manner, brutal treatment, and HIPAA violations. Multiple times I have come in for one procedure and ended up suddenly having completely different teeth drilled into, only to have the consent forms for what is now being done brought out to me after the procedure had already started. What is going on is not communicated well to patients. I have later come to find out that some fillings I had done were unnecessary. Almost every tooth that this dentist has worked on, more than half of my mouth, hurts consistently. I was under the assumption that this was normal for dentistry, but have come to find out that it is not. I am an adult woman who is not in the care of anyone else and am able to legally make decisions for myself, but once my mother came into the office while I was having a procedure done and the dentist showed her my x-rays and explained what I was having done without me in the room and without my consent. This is illegal. Just know, any relative of yours who comes into the office might be shown your personal information under this doctor's care. This dentist performed a root canal on a nerve that was not numb, and as I was crying out he joked apologetically, "I know, isn't it barbaric?" He also talks about politics in favor of Trump/Musk while patients are unable to respond, going as far as to say, "[Name] can't respond right now, but here's what I think..." He has consistently spoken down to me and treated me like I was much younger than I am and has even called me pet names such as "Honey". Extremely unprofessional, patients have no dignity or respect. Some of the assistants at this office are really excellent and are genuinely caring. I have had great experiences at this office when the doctor was not in the room or the one caring for me. I really hope they can find an office to work at in the future where the doctor they work under does not directly disrespect them to patients and in front of patients to other assistants.

How often have you called your dentist for a dental issue and they say "how fast can you get here"? The Smile Center meets all of the criteria for five stars. They are efficient, reasonably priced, and do outstanding work! This visit was one of many over several years with the same outstanding results.

Very nice dentist but unfortunately I had a bad experience. He suggested that instead of replacing my permanent retainer that fell out, we do a bite adjustment (not sure how that prevents my teeth from moving - and it didn’t. Gap came back - after expensive orthodontic treatment to close it!) He didn’t mention anything about the cost of the bite adjustment and when checking out, I was met with a bill for several hundred dollars. Every other dentist I’ve had provides an estimate on cost if it’s something expensive. On top of that, he gave me a very long list of work that needed to be done - fillings replaced and cavities filled. It was so much work he suggested I do it in 2-3 sessions. I have a baby at home so my time is limited and I dislike dental work. I went to see a different dentist who was highly recommended by a friend. She said I had NO cavities and wouldn’t recommend replacing my old fillings since they’re not giving me problems. Not only did I lose several hundred dollars for a bite adjustment I didn’t ask for, but now I have to go back to the orthodontist to try to undo the widening gap in my teeth because he wouldn’t replace my permanent retainer. Beyond frustrated.

As my dentist retired I needed to find another dentist. This was my first visit and it went very smoothly. Everyone has been very friendly. The hygienist was very gentle, Dr. John was very personable and knowledgeable. The place is very clean. I was there for over two hours for new patient visit. The best dental office visit I ever had. Highly recommended.
