PLEASE BEWARE: My mother recently went to Dr.Lee to get a regular dental check-up and he did a cleaning job and he did an examination too and told that she needs filling in some of her teeth’s. We agreed and then the next time she goes to him, he not only did the fillings but also did the gingivitis treatment without letting her know or taking her consent. The treatment wasn’t covered by the insurance either as it’s very expensive. Later the doctor just denied admitting anything and just told us to consult the insurance. She also has pain in one of the teeth’s he filled.

I visited Dr Lee and did not have a good experience. I went to him to get a cavity treated. He ignored the concern I brought up, rather he focused on treating cavity on another tooth. He also told me that I had gum disease which no dentist before him said and not even the dentists I saw after him. Even after promptly asking, He was not upfront about what procedure he was going to perform. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend him as a dentist.

My parents first time visit him in Sept 2019 for cleaning due to insurance change. Dr. Lee took all the x-rays and required to take a photo which cost $70 each (insurance not covered), my parents told him "no", then Dr. Lee required to do the deep cleaning. I told him, my parents just wanted to do regular cleaning for this appointment. In June 2020, my mother feel tooth pain, need to see the dentist, I called Dr. Lee's office, the front desk was trying to schedule an appointment for my parents on 6/22/2020, I told front desk, my parents already had another appointment with eye doctor and I will call back after I check my parents schedule. I called back on 6/23/2020. The front desk told me no appointment is available, until July or August, I said OK, let me know the available dates, Dr. Lee grab the phone and told me that my parents need to do Covid-19 test that by law then is able to schedule the appointment. I was so shock, I never heard such law. I understand Dr. Lee is not able to grab the money from my parents' pocket except insurance, that is the reason, he is unhappy to schedule appointment for my parents. I called insurance to switch my parents to different dentist. Later I requested to get my parent X-ray via email, Dr. Lee's office refused the electric service via email, ask us to pay for $25 for mail service of security reason. I just want to tell Dr. Lee, don't misleading people in this special Covid-19 period. My parents have already seen the dentist in different dentist office, get very good treatment.

Had the most unpleasant, combative conversation with Nicole in this office today. My son’s DeltaCare HMO provider retired so we were assigned to this office. I scheduled the initial appointment, then received a call from their staff that I need to get a fee schedule from DeltaCare because they are not able to access the info when they called DeltaCare. I called Delta Dental and with that rep still on the line, I added Dr. Lee’s office to the call. The first staff was not able to help which is fine and she put us on hold. Nicole picked up the call, explained again what they need and the Delta rep told them it does not exist and how to proceed. Nicole kept repeating herself, got heated and the conversation went in circles. Since both parties of myself with the Delta rep and Nicole could not come to terms, I tried to end the call and said it was best to part ways asking her to end the call. I proceeded to apologize to the Delta rep for having to bear witness to that call. Nicole jumped back into the conversation even more heated and combative. That was unbelievable to hear her speak to potential patients that way. I now believe the other bad reviews. So disappointing.

My mom is covered by DeltaCare USA. The office refused to schedule an appt until her name is on the paper roster that they got once a month from DeltaCare. So if you just signed up- beware. I called DeltaCare and they said they will fax the updated roster with my mom’s name on it. But this office said they dont take anything by fax or email, only by regular mail!

Dr. Lee has been taking care of my family's dental needs for last 20 years. He is one of the best general dentistry in Northern California. He is very thorough, careful & consistent with his skills & expertise!! I still have the original crown he put on 20 years ago! It was so durable & well installed. It feels like my own tooth & never have to worry. Hopefully, the crown lasts another 20 years. I highly recommend Dr. Lee to all my family, friends & colleagues. He is the real skilled dentist & best in Northern California!!!

Patients beware: this office deletes negative reviews that state the real facts of Lee Joon Ku's malpractices. Shady stuff. I went to him for a couple years after changing dentists, but I soon realized that every time I went there was something wrong with my teeth that needed to be fixed. I like to think that I take good care of my oral health, so these occurrences raised flags. I am not the only one who has experienced this, as Lee Joon Ku tries to take as much of your money as possible, through unnecessary cavity fillings. He makes different excuses as to how a filling would wear out in 6 months, so that he would refill the "cavity" in order to make more money. Incredibly deceptive, but even more incredibly incompetent. Joon Ku Lee is a "dentist" who cannot even diagnose something as basic as impacted wisdom teeth. When asking him about my wisdom teeth that were growing in sideways and close to the nerve, his response was "If it doesn't bother you, then I wouldn't touch it". Fast forward a couple years, the roots of my teeth are now touching the nerve and I am at increased risk for permanent numbness and tingling after extraction, because of this man's incompetence in diagnoses. Avoid this dentist at all costs, he'll probably tell you that all your teeth need fillings while missing a diagnoses or two. I do not know how he is still licensed honestly.
