Recently, Dr. Kim did implants for my front teeth. The results are very satisfactory to me, not only for meeting my expectations but also making me feel lucky for being in a good hand. Unlike some other periodontists who simply suggested me to extract as many teeth as possible for implants, Dr. Kim made a treatment proposal that saved one of my teeth. The success of my implants demonstrated Dr. Kim’s highly professional skills and showcased his willingness for listening to patients for their thinking. Thanks, Dr. Kim! I also want to thank Dr. Kim’s entire staff, like Holly, Jennie, Daniel, Jose and all others, for their care and professional assistance I received during this process; particularly I want to thank Holly for her suggestions on the treatment plan. -Sam L.

Avoid at all cost!! My wife visited once and paid in advance for her surgery. We later found there was over payment and they issued a refund. Due to their negligence, they did not ensure the refund was made through. One month later, 4 months later, they're still finding excuses that they used Square as the repayment platform and that's why we did not get the refund. Alas we regret visiting AJK for the surgery, and gave up hope in receiving the refund. What's worse is their bad attitude and irresponsibility to the whole issue. Patients be aware!

If only I could, I would leave 0 stars. I went to see Dr Kim for consultation about my tooth that had root canal done on it, and it formed big pocket under it. Dr Kim conclusion was that the tooth is fractured and it needs to be removed. When he showed me x-ray of the tooth and what he called 'fracture', I just wanted to laught.. Being material sciencist I know how fractures look; okay maybe not in the teeth, but still there are similarities. But most important is that of course he can put me an implant, as he is specialist on that! I felt like this Dr didn't really care about your teeth and all he wanted is to pull your teeth and put you implants, as probably he can earn the most this way.. Ridiculous!!! Went to the other periodontist who suggested to redo the root canal, as it seems like first time wasn't successful. After I did it, there was no more pocket and pain. It has been now maybe 6 months and I am happy, pain and pocket free. If you need to do implant, maybe Dr Kim is good, but he is useless in solving problems without pulling your teeth.

Have three implants and had no issues for I think over six years. Recommended Dr Kim to my wife. I trust Dr Kim completely with the care of my teeth.
