I had an amazing experience at Grand Corner Dental! The staff was very welcoming, and the doctors were extremely knowledgeable and kind. I always felt well cared for and never rushed. I’d absolutely recommend this office to anyone searching for a dentist!
Everyone was very friendly. It was my first visit and they had my X-rays from my previous dentist before I got in the chair. Katy was very sweet and kind. I would recommend this location.
Review of Dr. Griffith and back of the house staff would probably be a high 4, but unfortunately the office staff brings down the total rating significantly. A couple years ago there was some attempted insurance fraud, so I made it clear that I was NOT ok with that even if I wasn't going to be financially responsible for the charges for the treatment that I didn't receive should insurance not cover it. Most recently, they had issues billing my insurance since the union I'm in changed their dental provider. I made several calls over the course of several days (which ultimately just directed me to the information on the insurance card that the dental office already has on file). I left a voicemail with the information I had been given for them to submit the claim, but they failed to check their voicemails or didn't write them down or something and came back at me with voicemail threats of sending me to collections. It's really messed up and unprofessional to make those sorts of threats without so much as letting the person you are threatening know how much is owed or sending them a personal bill first. I get that union-provided insurance can be confusing, but be a professional and figure it out. You were able to figure it out in the past. My coworkers' dental offices have all been able to figure it out without needing my coworkers to make a bunch of phone calls and jump through all these hoops. Or if you can't figure out the insurance part, at least be professional and do the billing in the proper order. Sending someone to collections without first sending them a bill or even so much as verbally communicating the charges is absurd and probably illegal. Not sure if threatening to do so is illegal, but it's definitely absurd and extremely unprofessional. They've also been really bad about keeping appointments lately. It's a bummer to schedule something out several months in advance to get an appointment that doesn't take too much time out of work, only to have them call and cancel a couple weeks beforehand and push you out another month or two for a time that does NOT work well. Dr. Griffith is a good dentist though, and I wish him the best of luck in someday finding competent and professional office staff.
Be ware! 7/29 a cap was rebonded. An X-ray and visit was charged. 9/12 the cap was again rebonded and of course, charged. Again, the cap fell off after eight (8) days. The cap was not properly bonded as indicated by the initial photo and clean-up showing the residual bond on white paper. One would think some accountability would apply. Another charge is not warranted or appropriate. Pretty costly with no result. A call to the office was made. An answer to your reply: As you can see, the tooth has the bonding agent still on, but the cap had and has none, which is why the cap fell off. I'd think the bonding agent would stick to the cap rather than tooth, but... Had the cap some, it would likely be still on. Still, another charge is still inappropriate. BTW, to date the temp glue I put on is holding until we visit another dentist. Let's not argue anymore, it serves no purpose.
I was a new patient at grand corner dental yesterday. I had an extremely pleasant experience. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The facility was new modern clean. You can really tell a good Company when the employees are friendly to each other super super great vibe in the office I had a hiccup with my insurance and the office manager was super helpful. Highly recommend the dentist.
