Sonoran Desert Dentistry

I’ve seen many dentists & hygienists throughout my life and with my unfortunate genetics, my teeth need the attention! My experience at Sonoran Desert Dentistry was hands down & by far — the best, I’ve experienced. The front office staff, the hygienist, Sana and my dentist, Dr. Herro were all amazing, so sweet, thorough, and fast. They each made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I’m grateful my wife found this office. If you are looking for top notch, friendly, and amazing dentistry—this is the place.

Dr. Herro is an excellent dentist, the best I’ve ever had. She is professional, knowledgeable, personable and cares about her patients. The entire staff from the front office to the assistants and hygienists are friendly and proficient, with a special shout-out to Karly, my hygienist. I highly recommend Sonoran Desert Dentistry. Not everyone who has to move away can say they will miss their dentist, but I can. Thank you, Dr Herro.

I was so impressed with the thorough exam I had here and all the new tech I’ve never seen in any other dentist office! Victoria was my hygienist and she was amazing, my teeth never felt so clean and she took time to explain everything she was doing and made me feel so comfortable I forgot I was at a dentist appointment! Dr Herro was my doctor and she was fabulous, she took her time to explain additional questions regarding old root canals I had done. This office was so great and I would recommend it to everyone looking for an effective and trustworthy dental office. Thank you!!!

My first visit. I made the appointment, went to their office, checked in at the reception counter (very friendly and efficient), and before I had a chance to sit down in the waiting room (beautiful decor, by the way), I was called back to the exam cubicle. All the pre-exam x-rays and photos of my teeth were done by Sana (very nice and highly professional). She was also the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. These processes set me up for an exam by Dr. Zubairi, who efficiently evaluated my dental condition and created a treatment plan. The check-out process was easy and quick. State-of-the-art technology as well. Convenient parking and easy access to their office. Great practice! I encourage everyone to give it a try.

I wanted to take a moment to express my satisfaction with the outstanding work Dr. Brad did on my crown. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and comfortable, and I truly appreciate the care and attention he provided throughout the process. The crown fits perfectly and looks fantastic! It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work, and I am grateful to have a dentist who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about his patients. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Brad and the team at Sonoran Desert Dentistry. He completely transformed my smile by reshaping the bonding on my lower teeth — and the results are truly life-changing. For the first time in years, I feel like I have my old smile back. I actually cried when I saw the results because it looked so natural and so me. Dr. Brad is an artist and a perfectionist in the best sense of the term. He took the time to understand my concerns, explained every step clearly, and made the whole process comfortable and reassuring. I’m beyond grateful for his skill, kindness, and attention to detail.

Full disclosure, this rating is for their intake and scheduling staff/policies. I’m not able to review the dental care as I decided to be seen elsewhere. I made an appointment the Monday before New Year (which fell on Wed/Thursday). In the time between, my husband was hospitalized on New Year’s Day which was going to prevent me from making my appointment the next day. As I was getting ready to call and reschedule, they actually called requesting I come in earlier to accommodate a change in their schedule (the phrase used by the person who reached out to me). I said I’d prefer to come in the following Monday instead and they put me on hold. Someone else answered the phone and told me they would normally charge $75 for this but would waive it as a courtesy. Then she turned around and asked for the same $75 as a deposit for a procedure fully covered by my insurance. These people called me, a first time client, same day to change my appointment to accommodate their schedule, and then wanted to charge me $75 over the phone for picking a different day because my husband was in the hospital; all for a tooth cleaning. I’m sure the dental staff is amazing, but the office staff leaves much to be desired. This woman saw absolutely irony in asking me for a deposit for changing an appointment THEY CALLED ME to request that I change. My favorite part was when I declined to reschedule, she seemed shocked and felt the need to remind me of my broken tooth as if I’d somehow forgotten. The reviews lead me to believe that I’m missing out on amazing dental care, but the experience I had on the phone leaves me feeling like I dodged a bullet. Dental care is stressful enough without the added stress of whatever this was.
