What an amazing dental office. It is the people who make every visit easy and seamless. Alexis, the dental hygienist, was excellent. She was thorough and did an awesome job. Rose at the front desk was personable and professional. Jesus, as always, did an amazing job. I highly recommend Dr. Kandola for all your dental needs.

I was overdue for a cleaning and X-rays but in between insurance companies. My previous dentist did not accept the insurance I was on at the time so I was left with trying to find a new local dentist. Out of sheer good luck, I found Dr Patel at Modern Dentistry - a little bit further away than my previous dentist but not a big deal. I feel very fortunate to have found her! She was absolutely wonderful and all of the staff there was polite and professional. I was able to get a new crown done on site while I waited which is far superior to the previous experiences I have had with crowns. Dr Patel was very professional, very communicative and informative. I have definitely found my new Dentist! Great experience!!

I had my semi annual dental checkup at Pinnacle Modern Dentistry with Dr. Dr. Hetal Patel and I was informed that I needed two crowns. These teeth had previous watches on them so it was no surprise. I wasn’t experiencing any pain with these two teeth prior to getting the crowns. When injecting the lidocaine I think Dr. Patel hit a nerve with the needle because it was excruciatingly painful and my tongue felt funny (numb and tingling) for a month afterwards. She did the first crown and when the lidocaine injection (numbing) wore off there was A LOT of pain when eating anything other than soft food like mashed potatoes and oatmeal. She never said that I’d have pain for several weeks to a month afterwards. A week after the first crown, she did the second crown. Same experience. Lots of pain while eating. She said this is normal. She said it’s because they did a permanent crown right from the start and it’s different when you get a temporary crown and it gets replaced a few weeks later. That makes no sense at all. I’ve had many crowns before, both temporary and permanent, and I’ve never experienced pain after the initial lidocaine injection wore off. The third week I went back for deep cleaning and bite adjustment. Teeth still hurt A LOT when eating and I was told this is normal. No explanation why. She just hemmed and hawed with no explanation. I kept prodding and pushing her until she finally said that I might need root canals and referred me to an endodontist. In my opinion, any competent dentist would’ve known from the start that there’s a possibility that I needed a root canal but she never mentioned that possibility. In my opinion, she’s very incompetent and I will never go back there again. I would give her zero stars, but unfortunately, you have to pick one-star as a minimum.

Dr. Kandola and her assistant Jesus were fantastic. The office was clean, organized and very professional. I felt comfortable right away and am thrilled to find a new dentist right in my neighborhood.

I needed some extensive dental work done. Having had some horrible past experiences with a few dentists, Dr Patel and her staff were AWESOME! She was very understanding of my apprehensions and took the time to explain step by step what was needed to get me back to a beautiful smile. When a professional such as Dr Patel goes the extra mile to make sure you are totally comfortable it goes a long way making your dental work a great experience. Well done Doc. Will be keeping you as my doctor for a long while. 5 Stars!!!

Had a dental emergency while out of town. Thankfully there was an affiliated Modern Dentistry in Scottsdale. I was able to get in and get my issue addressed same day. Dr. Patel was very thorough and professional. The work looks great!

This dental office is outstanding. I first visited for a check-up and cleaning, and the team was both professional and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly and on time, from the X-rays to the cleaning. The office manager, Maria, was excellent—she clearly explained the treatment plan, costs, and worked with me to find the best approach. For my second visit, I came in for a treatment. The office was very flexible and understanding when I needed to reschedule, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Patel was amazing—skilled, compassionate, and attentive. During the procedure, she frequently checked on me and made sure I was comfortable, even giving me breaks when needed. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the entire team. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care for patients really stand out. They clearly put the patient’s well-being first.
