I’ve been coming to Smile Santa Maria Dental with Dr. Michael Issa for a while now, and I’ve honestly had a great experience every time. Dr. Issa is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I never feel rushed during my visits, and it’s clear that he truly cares about doing the right thing for his patients. I recently needed more involved dental work, including treatment planning that involved implants, and I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. The procedure was pain-free, everything was explained step by step, and the follow-up care was great. You can tell this office focuses on comprehensive care, not just quick fixes. Another thing I really appreciate is how well the office runs overall. The team works well together, the environment feels calm and respectful, and everyone is professional and attentive. Dr. Issa communicates clearly with both his staff and patients, which makes the whole experience reassuring. The front desk is organized, the assistants are helpful, and the office is clean and modern. I had three dental implants placed for my front teeth by Dr. Issa at Smile Santa Maria Dental, and the experience was much easier than I expected. The procedure was super quick and completely pain free, which honestly surprised me. Dr. Issa explained everything clearly beforehand and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Dr. Issa is the best dentist ever. His front office manager Alicia super nice and helpful, the assistants Leah and Maribell quite friendly, the hygienist Estella is wonderful. Office is clean and modern. I had x-rays, cleaning, few fillings, one crown for my back tooth, a tooth extraction, and dental implant. My husband had cleaning and a partial denture. All procedures were smooth, comfortable, pain-free, quick, and efficient. Very happy with the perfect results. Now we can enjoy our smiles and meals 😄. I love Smile Santa Maria Dental, Dr. Issa, and his team. Best dental office in Santa Maria. Highly recommended!

I have been to Smile for many years and was sorry the Nolans left. I recently broke a tooth and the new doctor got me in quickly. The crown process was painless and done in a week. I had my teeth cleaned a month later and the hygienist is the same nice, professional, pain-free one as always. The staff remains the same. Their fee schedule is good. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing a dentist.

From the first time I called with a painful tooth, the staff has been so sweet and kind to me. They worked with my schedule and got me in as soon as possible. The office is clean, the waiting chairs are comfy, and again the staff were my favorite. Dr. Issa was knowledgeable, delicate, and did a great job. My only critique would be, since this was my first real dental work (a root canal), I would have liked to be walked through the process a bit more. Either telling me what to expect before we began, or explaining the process as we went. More so out of curiosity than anything, I like to learn. All in all, its been a great experience and im very comfortable leaving my previous dentist who ive had for 10 years to Dr Issa at Smile Dentistry.
