Absolutely amazing dental care! From the warm welcome to the careful, professional treatment, every part of my visit was excellent. The dentist explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. Highly recommend for anyone who wants kind, thoughtful service!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cheng's now for something like 10 years. Our entire family goes to his practice, and I don't know how we could be happier with our treatment. He is technically excellent and keeps current on the latest dental science. Notably, for all procedures, down to cleaning and x-rays, there is an extreme emphasis on patient comfort. The treatment areas are pleasant and scrupulously clean. Dr. Cheng and his staff are all gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice.

This practice came highly recommended from a work colleague and I waited several months to see them for a comprehensive checkup, first because my insurance was HMO and then because they were in high demand, after my insurance changed to POS. Vera at the front desk was kind and helpful working with my insurance (which is out of network), Dr. Cheng spent a long time doing a thorough exam, and the hygienist (I forget her name) was thorough, gentle, and fun to talk to for about an hour. Unfortunately, what my POS didn't say is that even though I was "100% covered for routine exams with zero copay out-of-network" (that was told to both me and Vera), that 100% was a fraction of an undisclosed predetermined list of fees. These fees of course were much less, by a huge factor, than what Mission Hill charged for fair compensation. Leave it to insurance to mess everything up (although at least I know a lot more in-depth how out-of-network benefits work). Because of the insurance issue (which I feel was purposefully misleading on the part of my insurance to say "100%", which was really "100% of 40%"), I sadly can't afford to go to Mission Hill Dental again. But I still firmly recommend them, with the only caveat being that if your insurance is out-of-network, determine in advance what they are willing to pay for a comprehensive exam, if you want to avoid unwelcome surprise bills.

Everyone, Vera, Rosie and Dr. Cheng, is welcoming, gracious and efficient. The environment is comfortable and calming. The exam rooms are outfitted with the latest in technology. I sought Dr. Cheng out, after having first treated with him in San Francisco more than 20 years ago. He is an exceptional dentist. I would recommend anyone to him - he relates well to all ages and is very gentle - which is appreciated by patients of all ages.
