Santa Barbara Dental Care

TL;DR: Dr Weber is a doctor of doctors. This doctor (me) wouldn't see anyone else for dental work.. - The dentist I used since a child retired. The next dentist I found was in the process of retiring after I started seeing him, the person who bought his practicr unfortunately was so horrible. I am a trauma surgeon and caught mistakes in his diagnosis, work, and even double billing errors. In the 2 visits with him his work on 2 teeth led to me having to have them pulled. Thankfully I found Dr Weber. I only wish I had found him long ago, he is better then all my previous dentists put together. I completely trust him. I never feel things are being done just to generate more expense (as was the case with that previous dentist who caused damage rather than repair). Dr weber clearly explains his diagnosis visually referencing what he has found on the diagnostics (Xray/CT). I know a suggestion coming from him is something he would choose for himself if dealing with the same issue. You can immediately tell he takes pride in his work (as another military surgeon we always used to say "do it right the 1st time means do it once"). Dr Weber is the only dentist I will see. He is the doctor that doctors go to see. I can't finish without mentioning the dental assistant Robert who is more knowledgeable than that previous dentist that I mentioned. If I didn't already know I would have absolutely thought he was one of the dentists working in that practice. He works so well together with Dr Weber, I wish I had him as one of my surgical nurses (Robert, if you ever decide to go into nursing you'll have an immediate job waiting for you in the trauma OR!!) Besides knowledgeable he is extremely compassionate. Even the office managers are great. Cindy deserves recognition, she is always very patient with me even when I have repeated questions and takes the time to research explain things I may ask about. Anyone I have not mentioned is only because I have not interacted enough to know their name though I have always received excellent care and help from everyone there. Enough so that I took the time out to write this well deserved review. I'm sure you all at SBDC will recognize who wrote this and hope it gives some small thanks back for all you have done for me.

Had a great experience at Santa Barbara Dental Care. My hygienist, Leslie, was great. Did a great job numbing me up up prior to giving me a deep cleaning. My mouth and jaw were a little sore for a few hours after the medication wore off, but nothing out of the ordinary. And her singing christmas carols was too bad either!! 😀

I was highly impressed with the hygienist Daisy.,? Best work!! Follow up with her!! Dr Becker is quite incredible, however he damaged my gums and jaw when he went into my small mouth he should of paused for 2 minutes at a time the procedures were very difficult to get my left cheek and right cheek clicked not very good for my gums and lips!! Dr Webber did a great job! Procedure was painless and went smoothly. The whole team is very professional and work well at accommodating needs of the patients. I highly recommend this office for any dental work needed. Will be referring all my family and friends. Thanks again for the great work!

Daizy, my hygienist, was very friendly, delicate, and also thorough. Dr. Becker was also nice and explained everything he recommended. He is honest, and will give you advice that is best for your health. The rest of the office staff was very friendly and professional. Overall, I would/will definitely recommend Santa Barbara Dental Care.

Great explanations for implant procedures and potential issues. Friendly and easy communication. a bit more clarity on the projected costs would be welcome, especially concerning terminology of the various components of the costs. Thank you!
