See Me Smile Dental

I came to See Me Smile a few times and was happy. However the constant rotation of doctors was frustrating, and it's become clear they are a money-making scheme. Last year I was told I needed a deep cleaning, several fillings, periodontal treatment, and a root canal. I take pretty good care of my teeth so I got a second opinion at another dentist after the cleaning. Lo and behold, none of that was necessary.

Every time I’ve gone in for a "cleaning" or an "exam," I’ve ended up sitting in the waiting room for 30–45 minutes before anything actually starts. It feels very disorganized. At my last visit, they tried to take a full set of X-rays even though I had just had them done the week before. There seems to be a serious lack of communication and coordination in the office. Overall, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

I've never been to a dentist before, but my first visit here was very pleasant. All the staff were professional and nice. Mari gave me a rundown and took my xrays, and was great overall!

I came to this dental office for a broken tooth and, during my first visit, received a full exam and treatment plan. I agreed to have the broken tooth extracted and to begin a root canal on another tooth. The office ran my credit for financing and I was approved. I clearly agreed to use that financing only for the work being done that day. A few days later, my temporary crown came off and I had to return to the office to have it re-cemented. That same night, it came off again, but the office was closed. I called their after-hours line and was told there was no on-call doctor available. I expressed that I didn’t want to go all weekend without my temporary crown, and while the rep said they would try to contact someone and notify the office, I never received a callback. I ended up having to find a different dental office willing to help me over the weekend , thankfully, they did. On Monday, the original office finally called me back at 2 PM in response to the voicemail I left, not the one from their after-hours service. I told them how frustrated I was with the lack of emergency care and communication. Despite this, I decided to continue my root canal treatment just to finish what had been started. However, before my third appointment, I received a bill from the credit company showing I had been charged the full amount I was approved for even though I had not received most of the planned work. When I contacted the office, the finance staff told me they had billed for all the treatment that was proposed, not just what was completed. This was extremely confusing and upsetting. How can a provider charge for work that hasn’t been done especially when there's no guarantee I’ll proceed with all of it, or that I won’t choose another office? I met with the financial coordinator, who gave me the runaround. I made it very clear that I didn’t agree to be charged for future, uncompleted work. As of now, I’ve completed my fourth and final root canal appointment, and I’m still waiting for a credit on my account for the work I never received. My advice to anyone considering this office: DO NOT let them run your credit unless you are 100% clear on what it will be used for. When they do an exam, make it very clear what you want done — and what you do not want done. Read everything before you sign it, even if they explain it to you. At check-in, ask for a printout of the treatment plan for that specific visit before any work is done. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here and will not be returning.

I had Maribel help me with my X-rays and everything else to begin. She was fantastic. Very easy to talk to, knows what she’s doing, and did all that she could to make me comfortable.

Dr. DelaRosa and his assistant, Maribel Clark was great! I had two crowns done on the same side. The Dr. had a gentle hands and his assistant, Mari, was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the treatment given and the follow up care.

Going to the dentist is never my favorite thing, but this was as pleasant of an experience as I could have had! Everyone was very friendly (Paola, Dr. Kim, Rhiannon - thank you!) and explained the processes well, plus they had really good equipment. Only taking off 1 star due to the level of noise, there was a lot of chatter and I felt weird being able to hear other patients' conversations, plus I wish I had earplugs in for my cleaning. Front of office staff were great and forms were easy to sign! Rhiannon my dental hygienist was super sweet and made my cleaning as comfortable as possible.
