Rockford Dental Care

After searching for a new dentist for a while I’ve finally found a place that has met my expectations. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. My first cleaning here was one of the best cleanings I’ve ever experienced. The staff is very thorough and they explain everything they’re doing. Dr.Gomez herself is one of the best dentists I’ve had. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants to provide the best treatment possible. I’m very pleased with my recent visits 🙂

Kind and caring staff. So far wonderful communication about my insurance benefits- possible loopholes, and changes to my benefits in real time with insurance as it morphs in this crazy national culture. My dentist is caring, gentle, patient and attentive. Above and beyond flexibility with my need to be in a wheelchair and doing as much at each visit as possible rather than insisting on numerous repeat visits. Assistants are good humored and fun. An office that is a pleasure to work with.

I've been coming here since I was a teenager. It was nice, but the recent change in ownership seems to be a downgrade in quality of service. The place looked like a flip house due to renovations. Who knows how long that's going to be going on for... They now use a virtual receptionist. They changed my appointment time from 3:30 to 4 without my consent two days before my appointment. I made it six months ago at that time for a reason. A real receptionist might have given me a call to see if that's ok. They also might have said "You're appointment is actually at 4" when I checked in at 3:30 instead of letting me wait for 40 minutes. I'm finding a new dentist.

Luz was great! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.Luz carefully explained everything going on in my appointment and Dania explained everything perfectly and clearly with my benefits and coverage.

Made an appointment for 8am. Checked in a little before 8am since they opened at 8. Everyone who was here at 8am with me were taken back and seen. It's 8:32a and I'm still waiting. What's the point of making appointments if you're just going to make you wait? And how am I last if I was supposed to be among the first? Customer Service is dead and gone! Update: it's 8:41a and I told the receptionist to cancel my appointment. I voiced to her my frustration about not being seen. She said that the dentist who i was to see was running late....then asked if I wanted to reschedule!!! I told her no, I'll take my business to a place that keeps there appointments just as I keep mine. Why not just tell me in the beginning at 8am that the dentist is running late, THEN ask if I want to reschedule. That I could understand. Call me old fashioned, but I believe people as well as businesses should respect people's time and honor their commitments.

Had an appointment scheduled. Even got text confirmations for the appointment. Day before my scheduled appointment they called me to say that they moved my appointment and that I needed to reschedule. Long story short they moved my scheduled appointment without even talking to me. Two stars instead of one because the hygienists and Dr’s are always friendly and good. Just have to get past the front desk because it seems no one up there knows how to do their job or wants to do it. They’ve resorted to having you check in with a person on zoom now. In all reality it’s just another healthcare company that values money over patient care.

First time back in about 15 years. Everyone was polite and friendly. Everything was explained to the detail. Dr Nguyen still very pleasant and friendly. Doctor did a very thorough exam.
