Probably the worst practice I have ever visited. They don't explain anything to you and ridiculously over charge. Prior to my appointment I called 3 times to verify I would be seen by Dr. paydar (because I only see female practitioners for personal reasons) and when I show up to my appointment I was greeted by a male doctor. I asked if he was going to be the doctor for my appointment and he said "Well I think so?" and then turned around in a circle as if to show me no one else was there. The entire office then acted as if I was inconveniencing them because I declined and AGAIN asked for a female doctor. They tried to charge me $68 for a cleaning (which I confirmed with my insurance was free before I arrived!). I declined the service because of how uncomfortable I felt and asked for ALL of my records as I would like to go somewhere else, and they wouldn't give them to me. I had to ask the front desk 3 different times for specific things that they were acting like they didn't have. Then, they told me they wouldn't give me my records until I paid a $5 exam fee when I literally had no service done! All of their records are still handwritten so I'm assuming they didn't want to spend the time and paper/ink copying everything for me. Additionally, there were tool heads on the floor which led me to worry about how sanitary stations are.

I was given a quote of $1,700.00 for a root canal and crown but I was never told the type of crown. When I asked for the DENTAL CODES of each procedure, I was given the runaround and never received them. I called twice and was told they were busy. It’s been 3+ weeks. Hello? Yes I am a patient so be busy with me but no, didn’t give me the codes because they know I would check with the dental plan that I was getting and the price would be half. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get a written estimate with the DENTAL CODES before getting ANY work done!! If they don’t, go somewhere else, like I am doing. I recommended this office for 25 years but no more. They have changed. DENTAL CODES people!

Worst Dental Experience of my LIFE! Do not go here! Went in for a deep dental cleaning where they had me wait for over an hour to be seen and the. The cleaning was 10 minutes long. The doctor hurt me during it and didn’t care. Then on top of it they tried to charge me for a service, out of pocket, that they didn’t even perform! Had to get insurance to file against them. TERRIBLE DENTIST OFFICE! DO NOT COME HERE!!

I received excellent service like always I got my wisdom tooth pulled and didn’t feel a thing . I highly recommend star dental !!!

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. However, the dentist who worked on my cavities was super nice! The first assistant was rude, but she was switched out to someone else. And she was awesome!

Doctor Paytar incapable of continuing work from Western Dental. Left a detailed recorded message with Delta Care. They can decide to file complaint with Star Dental, Riverside California. Refused service, excuses only Western Dental knowledge of how to complete work. November last year said. If I get a oral surgeon to do the extraction of number 13 upper left molar, she could then continue the rest. That was a lie!
