Quincy Dental has a rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on over 56 reviews on Google
The dentist and the front desk ladies were very very nice ! The dental hygienist was super rude , heavy handed and i was not even a difficult patient . She is so unprofessional !Time for her to retire ! Hands were shaking .she has an accent so i had trouble catching up with her words then she was raising her tone and giving me dirty looks like i didn’t speak english or deaf! And She didn't do a good job scaling! The dr had to finish her job !then she had the nerve to call me and remind me about my next visit ! I work in dentistry and i do not treat patients like that !
As a new patient I'm very impressed with their prompt Professional Service. I had several dental issues that needed attention right away and was squared away in good order and quickly. Beyond that... everyone is personable and engaging in this office and made me feel comfortable immediately. I'm grateful for getting good dental care at a good price and in a timely manner. Been going here for several years now. All the staff and Dr. Thomas are skilled and kind. Stephanie (Office Mgr.) goes above and beyond to work with you and your insurance to get you covered, where possible, for needed work. Would recommend!
Doctor Thomas is kind and caring. She is very patient. If you have a problem she'll fix it.
Everyone there has always been very helpful and friendly. Dr. Thomas and staff have provided excellent care. That's my choice for all dental work for the past 22 years.
The first thing I noticed was how kind and friendly everyone was. I don't know the name of the woman that did my examination but she treated me extremely well. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist. With that said, we were laughing about our dogs and how much they love the snow. My anxiety was non-existent. Great experience. I've been a patient for almost 20 years with a 12 year gap that just ended. I admit I was extremely nervous about going back but I was immediately put at ease. They're very professional and gentle in their treatment of patients. If you're looking for a dentist you can't do any better than the fine people at Quincy Dental. ------------------------------------------ 4/03/24 - VISIT FOR IMPRESSIONS I was very surprised about how quickly I was in & out of there today. My appointment was at 12pm & I was done by 12:15 pm. Dr Thomas had me in the chair & done with both upper & lower impressions in about 10 min. Again very friendly staff including Dr. Thomas. My next appointment is only 1 week. So very fast turnaround there as well. If you need a Dentist who knows their stuff look no further than Quincy Dental off of the Southern artery in Quincy, MA. They also take Masshealth & Medicaid (I believe, do your own research on Medicaid) I highly recommend seeing them if you need dentures as well as other general dentistry needs. ------------------------------------------ 5/15/24 - PICKED UP DENTURES I had a visit prior to this that I didn't log. It was just making sure the bite was correct using the wax impressions. Today's was picking up the final product. The dentures look & more importantly feel great! I was surprised at the quick turnaround. 12 years ago it took about 3 months from impressions - final product. This time it was only 6 weeks. That's 50% faster. And I couldn't be happier. It can take a few weeks or less, it differs with everybody, to know if any adjustments need to be done. I was told to make appointments as needed for that. The reason I chronicled my appts & experience is so that hopefully it will let people know what to expect in this process. It's not something that can be found with a simple search on Google. At least not an accurate one. Especially with places like Aspen Dental & others around it's important to hear a real patient's experience with no incentive attached. Someone close to me used Aspen Dental & had to return the finished product in just under 30 days. Her input during the steps was ignored & even though she got a full refund she wasted about 2 months time. I only include this to point out that not only does Dr. Thomas listen to your input she asks you for it. That's the difference between a smaller privately run office compared to a larger corporate owned chain where the personal aspect gets cut out completely. So if you're in the process of getting new, replacing old dentures or just need regular dental care this is the place for you. Dr. Thomas & the team at Quincy Dental are great!
This dentist does not instil confidence. I was told I needed 5 crowns before she actually lookef at my teeth. The second crown didn't get seated properly, so I had to come back to get it fixed. Upon returning they didn't know why I was there, and told me the crown was fine. I had to remind her that she hadn't installed it correctly. I got a second opinion after the first two crowns and was told only one of them was needed. I would try to avoid this office for anything more than a cleaning.
