I had such a great experience at Drake Dental today. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, which honestly makes you forget you’re even in a medical office. It adds such a sense of comfort and luxury — I absolutely loved the building, the decor, and the overall vibe inside. I especially want to mention Nicole, my dental hygienist. She was so sweet and made me feel completely comfortable. She took the time to talk with me, ask questions, and genuinely consider my care while also getting to know me on a personal level, which I really appreciated. The dentist (I can’t remember her name) was also very kind and professional. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the dental office I chose and feel confident continuing my care here. I’m very happy with my experience and look forward to coming back!

Nicole is an angel on Earth!!! My son had a loose tooth and was in incredible pain for the last three days. Keep in mind, we’re about to be 11 and have lost many teeth without incident. It was so bad that last night when we took him out to dinner (to his favorite place) to celebrate his good grades, he was in tears trying to eat his steak. He even asked if I could call the doctor. He hates going to the dentist, so you know it had to hurt. First thing this morning, I called his dentist office and told them what was going on and asked for help. She put me on hold for 6 minutes and came back to say that they could get me in, in about 10 days. Keep in mind that I had explained in great detail how he was in such excruciating pain that he didn’t want to eat. The answer was basically too bad, so sad. (She didn’t actually say those words, just the summation of the conversation) I called the dentist my husband and I go to and he wasn’t in the office today. I panic texted Nicole asking if she knew of any emergency dentists in the area because we needed some immediate help. She called me and I filled her in on the situation. On her DAY OFF, she offered to go into the office and help my son. She was able to get him taken care of in her kind and gentle way. She, Laura and her team also were able to get his tooth out with no pain! We are so thankful for her generosity, caring and kindness!!! She is truly one of one. Nicole and team, thank you for going above and beyond to help our son get out of his misery, we appreciate you SO very much!!!

This was my first time actually visiting this particular place, I must say that the presentation of this entire building was amazing to me. I've experienced a few dentists in my life but this one here completely had me in awe. I will say that the hygienist that I had, Nicole was COMPLETELY amazing. I went into my appointment because I had chipped my tooth, and to be honest with you I kinda didn't know what to expect but the way how Nicole was so helpful, and the way how she explained the procedures and choices that I could take was quite amazing. I felt as if the staff there was quite friendly, they made me feel comfortable. I look forward to future visits at this establishment for corrections, cleaning, and whatever other situations I made have within the future.

Had my first appointment at Drake Dental South today. I am having an issue with a tooth. Amanda and Dr. Welburn were very kind and thorough and I left with a treatment plan. Everyone at the practice were kind, considerate and caring.

Today was my very first day as a patient at Drake Dental and I was not disappointed. Lia, my hygienist, and Dr Welburn were both amazing and very thorough. In fact everyone, from the front desk to the back room, made me feel like I had been a long time regular. I look forward to my next visit, and who says that about going to the dentist? I’m a new patient at Drake Dental and I’m impressed! My hygienist, Lia, did a great job cleaning my teeth and made me feel comfortable during the process. The dentist was very thorough and provided excellent care. Highly recommended!

I just had a cleaning at Drake Dental - Portage, and I need to specifically recommend my hygienist, Amanda. For me, dental cleanings are usually very challenging because I have extreme sensitivity that makes the whole process uncomfortable. Amanda was a total standout. She was highly professional and polite, but what really made the difference was how incredibly gentle and careful she was. She worked slowly and meticulously, constantly checking in to make absolutely sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the entire appointment. Her attention and careful technique made a typically stressful experience genuinely manageable. If you struggle with dental sensitivity or just appreciate a hygienist who prioritizes patient comfort, you should definitely book with Amanda. She's a fantastic, compassionate professional.
