Pembroke Square Dental

I have been going here for the past 10 years. This is the 3rd owner since then. It took everything in me to not be rude to the provider today as she is always rude to me and mis speak every single time I see her if I disagree to her treatment plan and recommendations. I have seen her 3 times (once a year). The first time I saw her she recommended braces and to see a specialist that is in house-who is out of network. I saw the specialists because she claim that my crown was loose and needed to be redone. He said I was fine. He even told her that it wasn’t. Fast forward to my next appointment (annual) she again said the same thing. I had to remind her of what he said. She gave me a shrug but stillll wanted something to be wrong and gave me clearance to get braces. That brings us to today. My braces were removed last year summer I believe. She says to me "you decided to get braces before you did what I told you". But before she said that she was getting ready to recommend braces until the dental hygienist told her I already finished the treatment. In order for my overbite to be fixed my jaw will need to be broken. I have always known this. I said all of this to say that 1. She has no bedside manners as a dentist and rude 2. She’s incompetent. She doesn’t have the ability to 1. Listen to her clients and 2. Know that every client will not fall into her textbook treatment plan. I will never return to this office.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Pembroke Square Dental with Dr. Marlene Lora and her team. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly and truly makes you feel heard, comfortable, and well taken care of. I have major dental anxiety from past trauma, but Dr. Lora has the softest, most gentle hands — she made the entire experience feel safe and manageable. I also had a deep cleaning (all four quadrants) done by Dimitri, and he has angel hands as well. I can’t recommend this office enough for anyone, especially if you’re nervous about dental visits.

Went to this office for a regular check-up and to check pain on one tooth. I was told I had 11 cavities, which seemed unbelievable. I got a second opinion at another office and was told my teeth are perfectly fine and that I only have ONE cavity. I ended up saving $900 by double-checking. Avoid this place.. don’t let yourself get scammed.

Always a pleasure coming in to see the team, treat you like family the second you step foot in here. Dimitri is great and cannot stress enough how good of a job he does.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Marlene Lora and her team. Dr Lora is gentle, explains everything clearly, and really takes the time to make sure you are ok. The office is clean and runs on time, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!!
