Dr. Katherine Roman and her entire staff at Pembroke Dental Smiles are absolutely wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Dr. Roman is thorough, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything, which makes you feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her and this amazing team.
I am amazed at how good this office is run. From Josmar at the Front Desk to Ivana the Tech and Doctor Roman I am extremely pleased with my overall care. everyone in the office greets you with a smile. Paola sat with me and went over all the costs and what my insurance plan would cover. I highly recommend them and I drive from Plantation. The office is beautiful, state of art technology everything looks brand new. Pembroke Smile Center is my new Dentists, I am recommending all my friends go there.
Dr. Toro, as always, is an exceptional doctor with wonderful hands—she’s thorough, patient, and explains everything in a way that makes you feel completely at ease. Her professionalism shines, and she truly cares about each patient. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting the hygienist, Zuly, whose gentle touch was incredible. She gave me a cleaning that reminded me of the perfect care I used to receive in Venezuela—completely painless and so pleasant. The entire staff is welcoming, attentive, and goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The clinic itself is spotless, with a modern, calming atmosphere, and you can tell they prioritize both cleanliness and patient comfort.
Been coming here for many years, always amazing friendly family services and treatment. They respect my differences on certain treatments. I come every 90 days for a cleaning. Quality and professionalism are top notch. Impecable style and environment.
Most of the stuff is nice, except Marie at front desk. She’s rude. Also Dr. Roman is good but never in office, very hard to get an appt with & the staff has become very unnaccomodating with appointments. Won’t be returning.
No 🧢ing, im extremely happy I chose Pembroke Smile Center, they're Grrrrrrr8t. I'm currently getting some dental work done and the staffs, all of the ones I've met are absolutely beautiful , professional, it's such a phenomenal atmosphere. The ladies there are so fine🙂 . If I could give them 10🌟 then they got it. Blessings and continued success to the all.
The two stars that I left is only for the kind front desk staff and my two very kind and professional dental assistants. I thank them all for their help and kindness. However, the experience I had has left me traumatized and questionable about the professional reliability of this practice. As a medical professional, I myself know you can never push a patient into anything they don’t want to do. But our job as medical professionals is to use our expert judgment and make recommendations according to our experience and knowledge. To tell me that local lidocaine ONLY would "be fine" for my 4 wisdom removals (2 of which were complicated and impacted), is irresponsible and I suffered for it in the end. My experience was traumatizing, and had I been given more education and professional guidance I would’ve made the decision for the appropriate anesthetic. But this isn’t my specialty I did not know better. I felt the drilling and sawing, I felt the breaking of my teeth and it was excruciating and traumatizing. I laid down and just cried during the procedure from the pain and asked for more medication multiple times only to be injected with more lidocaine instead of a PROFESSIONAL SUGGESTION of Nitrous Oxide. Which I made very clear to all the staff prior to the procedure that I wanted to have add nitrous as part of my treatment if I felt it was getting unbareable, but I never received it, despite me raising my hands multiple times like I was told to do in the event I needed relief. A large part of medicine is compassion and care and I felt that was lacked from my surgeon (Dr. Brigitte Corredor Marquez, DDS) knowing how complicated my impacted teeth were. I don’t feel like I was given the compassion from her that I would’ve given to my patient in the moment that I realize this was not what they may have expected and it may have been more complicated of a task. Was she fast? Yes, very fast at her job, but at what cost? Because as a patient it felt like it was never going to end, because of the discomfort. Not sure how this hasn’t already been done prior to me but going forward anesthetic options should be contingent on the level of complexity of the work! Practicing patient advocacy will leave patients more satisfied and definitely less traumatized.
