Oxnard Gentle Dentistry

If you’re a Medicare patient you want to be aware of going to this place. It’s very nice office very friendly people. They did extensive x-rays and then came back with a sales pitch to clean my teeth by numbing my mouth in two separate visits all they were willing to do was polish my teeth, even though Medicare covers a cleaning but not the deep cleaning, they said I needed it for hundreds of dollars more. I didn’t trust them, so I went to my original dentist office of the past 30 years. They told me I didn’t need a deep cleaning that I’ve taken good care of my teeth.

Don’t you just love visits to the dentist? Well, neither do I. But if you’re going to have to some dental work, Gentle Dentistry is a great place to go. Friendly and helpful staff. Competent work. My wife and I have both had a lot of work done here (as well as some our friends). No problems. I’m as much of a fan as anyone can be going to a dentist.

I made an appointment for a cleaning. I had never been to this Dental office before so I was surprised when I didn’t get a cleaning? Let me just start by saying staff was very friendly and kind. So they did X-rays then the Dentist comes in to go over X-rays and looks in my mouth asks me if things hurt. Then tells me what I need to have done to my teeth then tells me someone will come in and go over procedures? She does that to which I say am I getting a cleaning? I’m then told someone will be in to give you a polish? I said is that the cleaning? They start the polishing and said the Dentist will do the cleaning? Isn’t the polishing done after cleaning? While waiting for the Dentist to come back for my cleaning I was told change of plan I would need to go to the front desk to make an appointment for the cleaning? Went to the desk didn’t make an appointment don’t think I’ll be back.

Knowledgeable team, and excellent customer service, thank you Carrie and Dr. Sam for your stellar customer service and care for your customers. We need business like these to thrive as whole. Also thanking the whole team at Oxnard Dental, personable and caring. They the time to assess your situation and find a solution.

I was very pleased..my 86 yr old mother was terrified of dentist visits but everyone was so kind to us that she felt so comfortable being there. Would highly recommend!!!

I knew going in I needed serious work done and was very nervous but the staff was very gentle and supportive Dr. G was straight forward and Carrie from the front desk is the best hands down looking forward to a new 😁

Every time I call or come in for an appointment, the staff is caring and knowledgeable. Carrie in the front office is always friendly and accommodating to my needs. She’s truly an asset to the team. I would highly recommend them for all of your dental needs.
