Total Health Dental Care - Temescal Office, Oakland

First off, the team here is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful for any concerns that I have (which can range from a casual teeth cleaning to chipped teeth!). Dr. Sanchez is professional, knowledgable, and always provides empathetic care! He even verbalizes what he's doing during the appointment so that as a patient you feel informed and ready. All the hygienists I've interacted here are also kind and efficient! Christian at the front desk has such great energy and helps answer all my questions! Honestly, if you're looking for a new dentist office I highly recommend this location for it's lovely care and service 🙂 thanks again yall!

THDC has a clean and welcoming atmosphere, you're given gentle professional care, making you feel comfortable and reducing any anxieties. The staff is friendly, professional and willing to answer any questions you may have. You always leave there with the best experience at a dental office. I highly recommend them and always come back with a smile.

I have nothing but praise for the entire team at Total health, everyone is so friendly, and on top of their game and doing excellent jobs. I had a cleaning done yesterday she was great., I appreciate the dentist as well, as does my husband, he is also a patient. The new location is great! We have been coming to Total Health for quite a while at the older locations. Good job Total Health! 🦷😁🪥

I hate leaving bad reviews. I visited this location for a cleaning and Xray since I lived close by as a trial last year. There, I was told I had 6 (SIX!!!) cavities and would need to pay hundreds of dollars to fix them. I’ve never had anything like this happen so I submitted the X-rays to my old dentist to review them and verify if they saw the same. Not one but two dentists at my old clinic couldn’t find any evidence of a cavity, which they later confirmed during a physical exam 6 months after my appointment with Total Health. Despite me telling Total Health over and over I do not wish to continue their services, I am repeatedly texted, called and emailed to schedule my next appointment. I’ve opted out multiple times but they keep coming. It’s ridiculous and I feel like not only did they try to make up work to be done but now just won’t leave me alone. The staff seemed nice when I went in but after this experience all I can say is stay far away.

Very kind and considerate staff. The hygienist took extra special care during my routine cleaning. I mentioned I had extremely sensitive teeth and a very low tolerance for pain. The cleaning I received was very thoughtful, thorough and overall pleasant experience. I also like the new location.

I had my appointment at the new location. It is a wonderful office and the parking is easy. As always everyone is a pleasure to deal with.

The care is great and the staff super friendly. I can get used to the converted home that is now used as a dentist office. I liked the old office at Pill Hill better. Overall I still have to give them 5 stars because the staff is so good.
