I will definitely be returning to Dr. Ahmed. My appointment was scheduled quickly and courteously. He has a very calm personality and takes the time to fully explain everything, which is something I found to be incredibly helpful. He had a great sense of humor and it was obvious from the get-go that he knew exactly what he was doing. Lastly, I appreciated on his intake form that he asked what level of anxiety you have about dentists and he adjusted his approach based on how anxious you are about this work. I'll definitely be recommending him to friends.

Dr. Ahmed is awesome!!! Simply put, my experience at Oaktown Dental was the best trip to a dentist I've ever had. I had three fillings done in a lengthy procedure. Before we began, Dr. Ahmed made sure I fully understood the treatment, my options, and what I would pay. He was extremely informative and thoroughly explained my dental health and the nuances of my insurance plan. His calming and reassuring demeanor made the whole trip more pleasant. The procedure was painless and quick (considering the number of fillings). I can't recommend him highly enough!

This is by far the best dentist I've had. I've had a few cleanings and two crown procedures done. Dr. Ahmed is fantastic: not only is he a very skilled dentist, but also is very good at putting you at ease. He patiently explains everything that's going on, and is polite almost to a fault. You get the sense that he truly cares about his patients and is doing it for the love of the profession. His staff are very competent and organized. I've been recommending Oaktown Dental to everyone I know. Highly, highly recommended. I'm moving away from the bay area soon and I feel rather sad that I won't have Dr. Ahmed as a dentist anymore!

Great service, very professional. Dr. Ahmed was great to work with, put me at ease and even worked with me to thoroughly discuss my treatment plan. He only does what is actually necessary and is very ethical (hard to find nowadays!) in his recommendations for treatment. I really enjoyed my experience and definitely am going back for all of my dental needs!

We really miss Dr. Ahmed! I wish he did not give his practice up to this very sales oriented corporation. The entire visit with Dr. H dentistry was very unprofessional. I think it’s unfair that the wonderful reviews that Dr. Ahmed has on Google and yelp, will be used by this horrible profit oriented unethical practice. This new group decided to have a virtual dentist visit with me. I had to download an app on my phone,which did not even work to do a video call with this dentist. When the dentist finally was able to video call with me on my very own phone, the dentist was unable to correctly do a screen share. I was later informed about a very costly treatment plan. I decided to have a second opinion from another dentist, and it turns out I don’t need any of this costly dental work at all! Please avoid this place. Please go to a more honest practice. I highly recommend getting second opinions when it comes to dentistry, seems like lots of people are in this field for money. I am really frustrated that Dr. Ahmed is no longer here, this new group is incredibly unethical. Save your money and time and you can get better care from a better dentist.

I'm 13 years old ... I've never had any Dental work done . My first experience was getting numb , and an extraction.. Dr Ahmed took awesome care of me, I didn't feel the " shot " , he's my " painless " dentist with a great personality and is very sincere in patients care.... My mom and I traveled from the South Bay , just to see him . We wouldn't have it any other way !!! Looking forward to going again!! Thank you Dr . Ahmed for taking such great care of me ... Had a great experience with Dr. Ahmed! He was completely non-judgmental, explained everything very clearly, and wanted to make the experience the best it could be. I have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist and wasn't sure what to expect with a new practice, but he was excellent. Will be returning and would recommend to anyone in the area
