Comfort Dental - Moore

My mom and I come to Comfort Dental for years now. Dr Kelly Prescott goes above and beyond for her patients. I had a dental emergency day before thanksgiving and she squeezed me in. She took care of me in a jiffy and now I can enjoy the holidays with my family. My mom loves Dr James Prescott because he can speak Spanish and she can talk to him directly. They are both very caring doctors that listen to their patients’ needs.

Had an amazing experience at Comfort Dental in Moore recently following a "dental emergency" (in my mind). My regular dentist was on vacation and I wanted to be seen. Comfort Dental was listed as a provider for my insurance, was open on a Friday (rare), and had me fitted into the schedule within two hours of me calling. Dr. Kelli and team were fantastic, getting me through the new patient paperwork, preliminary exam, and in front of the Dr. within 20 minutes of arriving. Given an interim fix I had managed at home, the question was whether I needed temporary work done ASAP to hold me over until my regular dentist would be available. Upon examination following an X-ray, Dr. K determined my home fix would hold fine and sent me on my way with simple instructions to ensure no issues arise. All of this without a charge for the imaging or the team’s time, which we all know is incredibly valuable. Without question, any dentist could have performed a procedure for a non-patient drop-in to accomplish a temporary fix regardless of need, charged my insurance, and I’d have never known the difference. Then I would have had to endure the same procedure with my regular dentist again in the near term, likely at my cost since insurance companies are awful… Thank goodness this was not the case at Comfort Dental! So, thank you to this team for getting me scheduled, listening to my concern, communicating with me about fixing vs. not, then reassuring me I’m good to wait. A fantastic, unexpected experience that is super appreciated.

Would not recommend for an emergency. Had a tooth extraction done by another dentist in Shawnee. Noticed Saturday morning there was a piece of tooth still in my gum and it was really bothering me. My dentist was closed so I decided to drive over an hour away to Comfort Dental. Took X-rays and told me "it would round itself out" and sent me on my way. Went back to my dentist the following business day and they removed the piece that was bothering me. Sure was a waste of time. Thanks for nothing.

I honestly really love this dentist! All the staff here is great! Explain everything that’s going on and gentle when working on you. Highly recommend

Greer was great, very patient, friendly. Dr. Kelli was also super super friendly, very helpful. She was patient and very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. All around everyone was very friendly and helpful- I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but these friendly people/atmosphere really made it not so bad at all!!

Today Brook displayed the most insensitive, hateful, rude attitude to my daughter who is getting teeth pulled and terrified for the experience. She was very unprofessional and we will most certainly be finding a new dentist! We called a week in advance to have her antibiotics filled for this procedure and she never returned our call or sent the prescription to the pharmacy, we had to go through her primary doctor! This office has declined over the years!

Warm atmosphere, all staff members i encountered were friendly & welcoming. Havent had any actual dental work done here yet but i am fairly comfident that the dentists here are thorough & competent.
