⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the best dental experience I’ve ever had at Smile Institute of Family Dentistry. From the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, gentle, and welcoming. There was zero judgment, just genuine care and professionalism. Dr. Tucker took the time to educate me about my oral health and helped me come up with a realistic plan without ever making me feel embarrassed or scolded. That meant more to me than I can explain. Dr. Mims was also amazing — so patient and reassuring. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and respected. I truly wish I had found this office years ago, but I’m so grateful I did now. For the first time in my life, I’m actually excited to go back to the dentist. Highly recommend!

I've had really bad experiences w/multiple dentists during my adult years. Much of it, between my early 20s and 30s, I feel was d/t have state insurance. It caused me to become reluctant to see a dentist unless I absolutely needed it, which led to my poor oral hygiene. When COVID happened, that gave me reason to wear a mask all the time and after COVID because I did not want to show my smile. I saw a clip on TV during a time when they were showcasing black dentists in Milwaukee. I saw Smile Institute on there and decided to give them a try. I really believe God placed me w/the right dentist to help me get pass this fear that I have and to start working on getting my teeth in order. I also believe that this is not just a profession for Dr. Mims, but a ministry. Her mannerism is so gentle and genuine; it gives you reassurance that she cares about you and what she is doing. The staff are very professional and friendly. I remember my initial appointment and how nervous I was. The young ladies doing the x-rays and working w/the computer system actually made me laugh. I am so grateful to God for Dr. Mims and her staff. I also love the fact that she is a praying woman and has a prayer box in the lobby for any prayer request. One satisfied patient!!

Listen! I don’t leave reviews. But I made it my business to sit in my vehicle to write this review! First and foremost I absolutely hate the dentist. I’ve gone to over a dozen dentist, and I’ve never followed through. My fear of even walking into a building consumes me! But coming to Smile Institute was the best decision I could have made even at my age! The atmosphere, the friendliness, and even the laughs did my heart glad today! I will most certainly be returning! I cannot wait to refer people here!

If I could give ten stars I would. From beginning to end, I’ve received the best service at a dentist office I’ve ever had. To the beautiful smiles on the staffs faces every time they great a patient. To the aroma therapy for my anxiety? I couldn’t ask for a better experience the whole staff is absolutely amazing! My visit to Smile Institute of Family Dentistry was extremely pleasant and relaxing. I was met with a warm greeting, and was invited to take care of scheduling future appointments for myself and my 15 year old daughter at the beginning of my appointment. When I went back for my cleaning one of the first questions I was asked was did I want any aromatherapy, I said yes. That helped to create and support a relaxing environment alongside my chair back massage. The cleaning went well and the hygienist communicated when needed throughout including her suggesting a month-wash that I plan to try along with Mi Paste to protect my teeth between visits that I’ll also try. Dr Mims’ greeting as she made it in to me was warm, sweet and inviting. She also communicated thoroughly and asked questions that made me consider some additional techniques to support my dental hygiene. Overall, amazing visit. I also was able to purchase electronic toothbrush heads, the Mi Paste and a water flosser at her office.
