Pleasant Smile Dental Care

This office has kind staff, but there are MAJOR issues operationally. They were running so far behind that I sat in their waiting room for 40 minutes AFTER I paid for the appointment and showed up on time. My appointment was at 3pm I was there at 2:50pm. I had to ask for a refund and decided to just cancel the appointment. They send you so many texts and emails asking you to confirm your appointment weeks and days ahead multiple times and even send you traffic updates to make sure you come in, but don't have the decency to let you know when they are running 40 MINUTES behind. When you have someone taking care of your child so you can make your appointment, it's insane to have to wait that long without being told they're behind and couldn't give me an ETA. The first appointment I had I did my X-rays but they never told me what work needed to be done. They didn't say if I needed fillings, or had anything concerning that needed to be addressed untill I walked in to my second appointment and sign a bunch of consent forms for things I didn't even know I needed done. They also try and charge you for services you don't really need. Although they give you a breakdown of prices, it feels like they add things just to get a extra buck. The dentist wasnt very pleasant either, and made a rude comment when he reviewed my medical history and prescription list. I have an autoimmune disease and recently gave birth, and he commented "you take A LOT of medicine huh?" I take 3 prescriptions and 4 vitamins.... THEN THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED A PRESCRIPTION TOOTHPASTE! The only reason I went to this office was because they accepted my insurance. I will not be returning. If they expect patients to be early or on time and confirm appointments multiple times over weeks and days, they need to have the courtesy to let patients know how far behind they are so patients can cancel and or reschedule.

RUN. Do not go here! I only went to pleasant smiles because they accept Apple Health and had a terrible experience. The dentist never introduced himself and told me I needed a root canal and crown on a tooth with no issues. I got a second opinion from my regular dentist and was told no root canal or crown was needed.. I do not think anyone should go here, the dental school would be a better option and they offer a sliding scale for payments. Bare minimum I wouldn’t get anything done here without getting a second opinion!!!

Love this place. Very transparent with fees and helpful in setting up plans for getting dental work done. Been awhile since I’ve been to the dentist and this experience was great. Finally getting my teeth fixed and happy I’m going to this office.

I would rate this dental experience 0 stars out of 5 if possible. The staff were awkward and impersonal, the dentist is rude to the staff creating an overall miserable experience. I was told I had 17 cavities which prompted me to read the reviews. I saw many reviews about being diagnosed or treated for unnecessary procedures. Upon getting a second opinion, I only had 1 cavity. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone

I needed to find a new dentist for my grandson. I read several dental posts. Pleasant Smile Dental Clinic had positive reviews. It was a great experience, Dr Manogaran was pleasant, he and his staff took good care of Joe. He is my grandsons new dentist!

I love coming to pleasant smile! Jenna is so sweet and always makes sure all my questions and concerns are taken care of. I see them for my check ups as well as Invisalign! Love their quality of care

I had a great experience . Kind staff welcomed me in to check in. I waited a couple minutes and got in the exam chair. The Dr and Assistants were very through in e planning what we’re doing and talking over my personal Dental care. We had a simple cleaning and then scheduled my next appointment right before I left.
