Dr. Amelia and her team were kind and professional when we came from a lactation consult for my baby’s severe tongue tie release. They emailed a list of helpful resources and a medications beforehand, so I came prepared. In our case, my baby was a "tether-floe"; her troubles were floating on the surface and were solved quickly with the procedure. Within 24 hours she was a new baby! She was eating better, sleeping better and so much more relaxed and comfortable. I was impressed with how sweetly they talked to her through the whole appointment to put her (and me) at ease. They welcome questions, gave us ample time, privacy, and let me nurse her in the room. We took extra care to follow our post-op medication schedule and stretch holds and she is healing very well. Their office is personable and communicative. Highly recommend.

I have a 7 yo girl and 4 yo girl that’s have been seen by Dr. Chim since they got their first tooth! We have always been welcomed by happy staff up front & their dental assistants are very patient and gentle with the girls. Dr. Chim is always in a great mood happy and uplifting making the girls feel comfortable being there! She takes her time to explain things to us if we have questions, having come there routinely since my girls where babies the girls love going to the dentist and getting their prize after! She also preformed lip and tongue tie release on my youngest daughter around a month old which helped tremendously with breast feeding! Procedure was very quick and everything was explained very thoroughly how to properly take care of them at home! I have a four month old boy and can’t wait to get him into see her when he has teeth! Highly recommend Dr. Chim to anyone looking for high quality pediatric dental care!

We love this place! My youngest had really bad dental anxiety and Dr. Amelia and Kasey changed that to a positive outlook and no more dental anxiety! They were amazing and talked her through it and she loves going back to the dentist again! The whole entire staff there is organized, super nice and friendly. The rooms are very clean and new. We are so happy we found this clinic.

I brought my 4 month old in for a frenectomy consult. Dr. Amelia and her staff were very thorough in explaining what was medically necessary and what the procedure would look like. Her staff was very informative and helpful in teaching me how to care for my little one post op. Everybody was friendly from the front desk to the exit. Marysville Kids Dentistry made this nerve-wracking event very comforting for me as the parent. I will be returning.

The 2 stars represents a positive experience with our tongue/lip tie release when my son was a month old followed by an awful experience at his first dental cleaning at 13 months such that we will not be retuning. This office was recommended to us by our lactation consultant for a lip and tongue tie release. That went well and he recovered fine. The dentist personally reached out to see how he was doing after we were home, which I thought was a nice touch. This office may want to just stick to those procedures if that is what they are good at. We went back for his first dental cleaning. Our appointment was at 8 am, and we arrived at 750 to ensure we were on time and do any paperwork. I was given a tablet with a form upon check in. 13 minutes later, and after everyone who arrived after us checked in, we were told they needed another form. Okay, did that also. Another 12 minutes goes by before we are called back. We are taken to a "room" where an assistant asks how many teeth he has, home habits, etc and then makes us pin him down while he is screaming to brush his teeth and floss 2 of them. This took 3 minutes. You would think they would be a bit friendlier at a kids dentist office to kids. Then, we wait another 30 minutes for the dentist, who spent 1 minute doing the same exact thing. So for a total of 4 minutes of time with staff, we were there for 55 minutes. Trying to keep a 1 year old in a dentist chair for 30 minutes waiting is a joke, as an adult I can get an entire cleaning in less time! Pinning him down while he screaming to brush his teeth for 10 seconds is also ridiculous and I am sure will have negative associations going forward. Needless to say, we will not be back and I do not recommend this office.

I’ve been taking both of my kids here for the past five years, and I honestly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The staff are truly amazing—every single person greets you with kindness and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. They treat you like family! When my daughter had to go through a procedure, I was so nervous, but the team made the experience so much easier. They took the time to explain everything in a way my daughter could understand, comforted her when she was scared, and showed her so much patience and care. Watching how gentle and reassuring they were gave me such peace of mind as a parent. I’m so grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and warmth they’ve shown us over the years. It’s rare to find a place where you know your kids will always be treated with such genuine care, and I truly appreciate everything they’ve done for our family.
