We had an excellent experience with Dr. Lilly and his team at KY Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Associates. Dr. Lilly did a fantastic job with my son’s wisdom teeth removal, and the entire team took such great care of him from start to finish. Everyone was kind, professional, and attentive — making the process smooth and stress-free. I left a review while back but for some reason it’s not showing. I would highly recommend Dr.Lilly to anyone. He was amazing, his staff were great and understanding as well. He informed me of what he was going to do during my wisdom teeth extraction. He was very kind and understanding of my fear. Truly amazing person that cares about what he does and his patients. I had no pain, swelling or bleeding. Like seriously none. If I could give 10 stars they’d definitely get them. Thank you so much for making me feel at ease and comfortable and giving me the best experience I could get. ❤️

I was just there with my friend who was scheduled for a wisdom tooth removal. It was made very clear from the beginning (and at the previous consultation appointment) that she had a severe phobia of needles— to the point of physical violence at times— and would get the nitrous plus Valium that was prescribed prior to the appointment. After we went back they promptly put the nitrous on for less than 5 minutes at most before saying the nitrous wasn’t going to work for her and she just needs IV sedation because this was a waste of time. As my friend explained why she was scared of needles (she doesn’t like the idea of something in her arm) he repeatedly said "well it isn’t a shot it will be fine" After a solid 15 minutes of him repeating that (with a smirk on his face while dramatically looking at the clock as if she WAS wasting his time) he said "well we’re going to just have to reschedule you for the end of another day so you can be my last patient" and then said that normally his pediatric patients were essentially fine after the numbing (she is an adult woman). It was very clear that we were not worth his time and that his ego was very clearly getting to his head…. it wasn’t even 10am. I hope their other patients don’t have a fear of needles because I personally would’ve felt more bedside manner coming from the plant in the corner of the room.

I had three fractured molars, one of which was infected and causing excruciating pain. I also have a dental phobia. I had never been there before, and although I had an appt. scheduled for later in the week for a consultation, the pain was too intense to wait. I called the office and Tanya was kind enough to work me in the same day I called. Although apprehensive, Alexis engaged me in conversation and helped me feel comfortable as she explained to me the treatment protocol back in the exam room. Mandy then came in and informed me upfront what my insurance would pay and what my out of pocket cost would be. The leader of the team, Dr.Schulten, was phenomenal. He was personable, professional, and kind. He was patient and I never felt he was in a hurry to get to the next patient. He extracted three teeth and I felt no pain other than the initial numbing. However, he uses a numbing gel before he injects you with novocaine so even that pain was minimal. I was given thorough post op information and an ice pack in case I needed it. I highly recommend Dr. Schulten and his team. I felt welcome from the time I entered the door and knew I had received excellent medical treatment when I left.

Stop scrolling and read this! Dr. Thad Schulten is the best in Louisville and he cares. The staff is excellent! One of his assistants told me her name twice but I forgot. Dr. Thad Schulten is the only person to go to for tooth extraction. NO PAIN and SUPER Fast! Thank you Dr. Thad Schulten and all the staff! Highly Recommend

This is a post that took awhile. I had a complete upper plate and partial bottom. 4 in the top 3 in the bottom (posts). I couldnt have chosen a better office to handle my implants. Dr. S and the entire staff are awesome! This adventure all started during covid and I couldn’t thank the staff enough for taking care of me when no one else would. I can’t say enough postive aspects about the office and the staff. Well deserved 5 stars!!!
