Bright Now! Dental – Los Angeles (Central LA)

My daughter and I came in as new clients. Scheduler made our appointments at a different location than requested. However, the receptionist at midtown crossing was gracious enough to squeeze us in. My daughter’s experience was smooth sailing. Dentist was great, had wonderful bedside manner, complimented her on the condition of her teeth. X-Rays were taken and a cleaning was done that same day. My experience was slightly different, Dentist was great however, I have a broken tooth, X-Rays were taken an exam and paperwork was done. I left the exact way that I came in, with a broken tooth. There was absolutely nothing done or concern about protecting the well being of the broken tooth. I was sent away with only one instruction, wait 4 to 6 weeks for the approval to repair my tooth. I never experienced a Dental office do absolutely nothing for a broken tooth. At minimal a temporary cap could’ve been placed over the tooth pending approval. Instead I was sent away with the office stating nothing could be done in the meantime and I would simply have to wait! Never experienced anything like it.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible!!! Every single visit involved waiting over an hour despite signing in on time. On multiple occasions, I approached the front desk only to find that my name had been crossed off the sign-in sheet as if I had already been helped, while patients who arrived long after me were taken in before me. This happened at every visit, and it was both unprofessional and unacceptable. I literally waited over an hour every single because I know how dentists can take a while, but c'mon. Why was my name alway crossed off when I was never called? why were people who had appointments after me getting called in first? It was not a 1 time occurrence but every single appointment.

The Front office staff is always amazing and professional. On the flip side of things, I was seen for a deep cleaning and definitely didn’t need it! The hygienist was "LAZY" Cavitron Queen, only hand scaled the lower anteriors not each quadrant AND DIDNT EVEN POLISH AND FLOSS!!! WOW 🤯 she’d never last at a multi- Million dollar private practice!! She gave (Western Dental Quality) and that’s bad! OH DID I MENTION MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 3:00 and I was gone by 3:30 didn’t even keep her full production hour for my appointment.

Had a very pleasant experience. Got a real good clean by the dentist. I feel bad that I cannot recall her name, but it all went smooth. Definitely making this my new dentist office.

I called made an appointment for the next day. I was at the appointment on time , did a little paperwork, nobody like paperwork but I did it, couple of things I missed the desk helped me and I was called in about 5 to 10 minutes later. Everyone was professional. I need more work done and I hope that it stays as a great experience Thank you

Waste of time. They make it super easy to make an appointment online but when you get there it’s a mountain of paperwork. They wouldn’t do my cleaning without a doctor’s note because I’m pregnant although my prior dentist’s office which burned in the Palisades did a cleaning for me during my last pregnancy with no questions asked and no extra paperwork. My guess is they want to take x-rays so they can bill for extra work that I don’t want or need. Beware of the other low reviews, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was an unpleasant experience from start to finish.

The cleaning was fine. It was everything leading up to the cleaning that was problematic. First my initial Saturday appointment had to be rescheduled because the hygienist wasn’t available. I rescheduled my for appointment for during the week. When I arrived the same hygienist again wasn’t there and I had to wait 40 minutes to see another hygienist or reschedule for a third time. So not acceptable.
