Top 9 reasons not to make Great Expressions in Lehigh Acres, Fl your Dental provider. 1. The office in Lehigh provides no specialist . When I needed a root canal they referred me to a specialist in Ft Myers. When I arrived I found that the wrong tooth number had been noted on the referral and all paperwork and insurance approval had to be redone. 2. No matter how good your dental insurance coverage is for cleaning, this office will always require additional procedures requiring out of pocket costs to you?? When I questioned this practice I was told the Dentist could be held legally liable if not performed. This was a lie! You can simply sign a service refused document. 3. On another visit it was determined I needed a crown. I was provided with a work order showing that the crown was covered 100% by my insurance and I had a zero balance. The old tooth was ground down and they were in the process of fitting a temporary tooth when the Office Mgr came in and advised that a mistake had been made and there was no insurance coverage. I would not have had the crown installed then had I known that it was not covered under insurance. They refused any future service to me until the crown was paid for even though they were clearly at fault. Rather than sue, I paid the bill. 4. On 2 occasions, they called to cancel an appointment after I had already left home. 5. In Nov 25, I went in for my annual exam and x-rays. During this exam I was told that 2 teeth should be extracted and I probably needed gum surgery. 6. A few weeks later I was having pain in my upper gum and attempted to contact their office for a referral since they had no specialist. 7. When the pain worsened I left a phone message advising I was in pain and needed a specialist referral ASAP. 8.After no response to my phone messages (they seldom answered the phone) I sent 2 emails, 2 text messages, and a fax all to no response! They knew I was in pain and simply didn’t care enough to make a simple referral for me. Is this the kind of Dentist you want for yourself or your children?? 9. At that point I contacted a specialist myself and it was determined that I did need gum work done. After the specialist exam he advised that the 2 teeth that I was told by Lehigh Great Expressions needed pulled, only needed fillings. Another warning sign! As a retired Bank Executive I’m highly service oriented and Great Expressions Dental in Lehigh Acres, Fl does not come close to meeting my standards. I now have a new Dentist. I would not recommend this Dentist to anyone. This office has serious service, and I believe ethical issues. WARNING TO ALL!

I had an excellent experience at Great expression dental.The staff was friendly and professional from the moment I walked in. The office was clean welcoming and cold. They offered me a lab coat and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Perez explained everything clearly and answered all my questions, which really put me at ease. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for quality dental care!"

If I could give no stars I would. I first attempted to come here for a cleaning, My appointment was canceled because even though they have my records I am considered a new patient. I said fine reschedule me. When i show the LADY my calendar to try to make things easier, she wanted to book me at 8 am when i told i wouldn't be able to because i would be getting out of my job until 12:30 in the morning she said you could try to wake up early. She has no business telling me what to do with my time just because i am 50 years younger than her doesn't give her a right to involved herself in my business and push herself on me like that. I let it slide. When my rescheduled appointment came i was scheduled for 8:45 I came in at 8:30 everything was fine. They did my x-rays i thought it was extra but it wasn't an abnormal amount. This is the part that gets me I waited an Hour and fifteen minute before seeing the DMD, Not only that she said she is requiring more scan. When asked why she said because i am new to her practice she wants more scans and a comprehensive. When i explained to her that earlier in the year i had already done that she said for her own peace of mind she like to repeat them. Mind you I have been consist with my dental care. I have had wisdom teeth removed, had braces, and followed every recommendation. She said that at the moment she didn't see anything wrong but would like to dive deeper. I don't have anything wrong with my mouth. They literally have access to my record since i was 17 years old. That is why I stay with the same company. But she insisted so i said well can you guys get me out with my cleaning before 11 because i have class at 11:30 she said no because they would start my cleaning until 11:15 that is when they booked it for. When i already been there since 8:30 and could tried to actually be efficient with their time. WHEN HAS IT EVER BEEN SEEN THAT A WHOLE DENTAL APPOINTMENT FOR A CLEANING AND XRAYS BEEN 4.5 HOURS. I left when they told because first of they are scamming hard on the Ins. They wanted me to pay i said no. This is a scam do not go here because they are trying to make a buck rather than appropriate dental care. This has by far the worst experience by far. The hygenist guy super nice, he actually is very good with patients and deserves to work in a much better place. Everyone else yall can get the karma your owed for doing this to patients.

Great experience. They graciously helped me on a short notice. All were very pleasant. Provided a full explanation of what I need with a printed plan. I'm only in the beginning stages of this journey but feel confident it will be a good one.

I am so glad I picked them as my Dentist. The whole staff is very kind, patient and understanding even when I wasn’t the nicest. I was in severe pain and even though that’s not an excuse they treated me no different from day one till now. Hands down amazing staff and amazing place.

Everything that I explained to the receptionist on the phone for 15 minutes was completely ignored once I presented myself for the appointment. "Rules are rules" is what I was told. Obviously no human interaction or consideration. The receptionist was like a robot and the doctor was very unfair to me, especially being told the situation beforehand. Too much to go into but far from a professional office. By the way, I am a dentist

I've attended Great Expressions in Lehigh Acres for over 3 years. Each time I have waited at least 40 min or longer to be seen. I understand that things happen and Dr's get behind. What about waiting when you're the 1st patient of the day?? The kind lady in the front office apologized for my 50 min wait today, and the assistant thanked me for my patience. The dentist said nothing. When the dentist and her assistant are speaking another language, while working in my mouth, is rude and unprofessional.
