Comfort Dental - Lee’s Summit

This was my first time at Comfort Dental- Lees Summit and the service was amazing from the moment I called to make a reservation. Dr. Diaz was very thorough and knowledgeable in going through the care and treatment I will be receiving. Maraya, the hygienist, was gentle with cleaning services knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend Comfort Dental if you’re new to the area and looking for dental care provider.

I've been going here for a couple years and enjoy Dr Bob. However, this last year, it seems most the office staff have changed and I don't get the professionalism I once did. Last September 2025, I received a quote for a crown I need. My insurance had maxed out for the year so they gave me a quote for my out of pocket cost. I waited it out until my benefits renew after the 1st of the year. So on January 4th, I emailed them and asked them to please send a preauthorization to my insurance for the crown. I got no response. On February 9th, I sent a letter, along with my quote, asking them again to please send a preauthorization to my insurance. They again don't respond. I checked my insurance today, 2/20/26 and no preauthorization was received. Dr Bob is great and does a good job, but it seems the customer service of the office staff is disappointing. After my last visit, I received a bill for some fillings, since my insurance was maxed out, but I had a secondary insurance on file that would cover it, so I shouldn't received the bill. It was taken care of, but the whole experience was disappointing. The original office staff and assistants that were there when I first started were great. What happened?

I'm so grateful for the Saturday accommodations. For a family of six, we're empowered to get our three kids the care they need without sacrificing their education. Comfort Dental on 291 is a beacon of hope for us! They're warm, supportive, and enlightening, offering practical preventative tips that inspire our children to take ownership of their oral health. The dental hygienist, Mariah, is an angel, and my kids and I adore her! The staff encourage our kids to strive for excellence in their dental care and celebrate their triumphs. I highly recommend this haven of hope!

I must admit. I wasn't looking forward to my dental work scheduled for today. Not even a little bit. But the minute I sat down in that chair. And had two great assistants come back and not only kid around with me. But made me feel comfortable from the start. Even while they administered shots. They did so in such a way.I could barely feel them. After finishing in came Dr Bob. He was cool, calm, and full of confidence. But with his every move. He was quick to double check with me. To make sure I was okay. I was only half kidding with him when I said he had the hands of God. Because my procedure wasn't the easiest for him to perform. And by the time he was done. I couldn't believe that there wasn't more discomfort. Need a caring dentist you can trust? I would have given them 10 Stars if I could have.

I went to visit the Lee’s Summit Comfort Dental today for a cleaning, and let me tell you… It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office! Mariya, the hygienist, was so patient, polite, and incredibly helpful. I had a ton of questions, and she took the time to break everything down for me with no problem at all. On top of that, she’s absolutely gorgeous! So, way to go Mariya! You made my visit a 10/10!

scheduled my appointment last week. provided CORRECT insurance on the phone. they said they can’t share info between locations so they need new xrays- cool, no problem. she claims she tried to call me friday, I did not receive any call or voicemail from them. I show up 15 mins early for my appointment. they take 30 mins to say my insurance is wrong- I gave them the wrong card, I needed to give them member ID for the umbrella company under them, but I already provided everything on the phone so it shouldn’t have been a problem. 3 people who showed up after me go in before me. after waiting 35 minutes they tell me they still need to verify my insurance. I had another appointment after this so I was unable to attend this appointment. very frustrating, terrible experience considering I took the correct steps prior- it should not take that long for an office that is not busy at all to get me seen when this should have already been handled. go here if you want to waste your time.

Going to the dentist can be scary for most people. Me I’m most people! When I tell you those ladies made me feel so comfortable. Mariah and Brittany were both amazing they had me laughing the whole time and then boom it was over. They also work very well together, great chemistry and you don’t see that often in the work place. I’m looking forward to coming back and getting my other procedure done. 10/10 I recommend
