New smile dental

I had such a great experience with Dr. Cabrera at New Smile Dental. He’s both my dentist and oral surgeon, and today he went above and beyond for me. I came in with severe pain from an orthodontic band that another office placed, and even though it wasn’t part of my treatment with him, Dr. Cabrera saw me right away and helped fix the issue. He was gentle, explained everything, and relieved the pain instantly. He truly cares about his patients’ comfort and well-being. The whole staff is always friendly and professional, and I always feel taken care of here. Highly recommend Dr. Cabrera and his team!

Honestly love this place! The dentist is so kind and very gentle. I felt immediately comfortable stepping foot into this dental office after years of not being seen. So grateful to have found this place!

I have been coming here for 18 years, after the third dentist change, I’m over it, I came in on 2/14/24 and expressed that a filling of mine had broken, and that I would like it replaced, they said no cavities, and did a cleaning and I was good to go. And they left pumice from the prophy paste in my mouth after I kept asking to be rinsed more. As I was teaching someone how to take X-rays I noticed that the same concerns I have, I called SPECIFICALLY to have the filling taken care of, and I was only seen for them to say i needed to come back another day when I said that I needed it taken care of same day. And then they tell me they can’t do it same day? Even though that’s what I was scheduled for?? Why wouldn’t you schedule me for treatment when I specifically asked to be scheduled for treatment? And don’t respond with the whole "well a doctor needs to diagnose it" when you clearly didn’t even diagnose it prior when I had mentioned it and even had to press a little harder for you to acknowledge a broken filling. How is this not something you’d acknowledge especially after looking allegedly super hard, and adding it to the treatment plan because I had to press about it. Second star is for Idalia, the only reason worth even coming here is because she’s a very nice woman.

I'll just start this review off by saying, GRATEFUL! The entire staff I've encountered within a 3-day period has been exceeded my expectation of any dental office. I was a standard walk-in with a lot of pain, and I was seen immediately. Dr. Cabrera treated me as if I've been a client for years. That's the heart of a real caretaker. Having to go back for additional follow-ups (from the initial pain) Dr. Cabrera listened and gave as much insight and perspective as they could without disregarding my interests. The dental assistants and the front office have been wonderful as well. With just a simple follow-up call to see how I'm doing (currently waiting for approval from insurance to continue treatment) that goes above and beyond standard customer service. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist and/or a new dentist. From a treatment standpoint, I'm giving them a 10/10. Again, thank you so much Dr. Cabrera and the entire staff of New Smile Dental for the exceptional treatment. Looking forward to returning in the next few weeks. Thank you.
