I came in today admittedly stressed and worried — my son is autistic and nonverbal, and dental visits can be overwhelming for him (and me). We’ve been coming to this location since before the new ownership, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But Dr. O and his team completely exceeded my hopes. Even though they’re not a pediatric-only practice, they were so patient, kind, and accommodating. The office manager, tech, and imaging assistant were calm and understanding, and Dr. O was incredible — he met my son where he was, worked within his comfort level, and treated him with compassion and respect. Pain and sensory issues are tough for kids like mine, but this team handled everything beautifully. I left feeling seen, supported, and grateful. Dr. O, your office manager deserves a raise — thank you for helping my boy and for restoring my faith in what great care can look like. Absolutely would recommend them to friends and family.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency at this office. I called to schedule a simple limited exam for one tooth and requested basic pricing for two standard ADA codes (D0140 and D0220). Instead of providing clear information, I was given vague answers, deflection, and zero transparency about their fee schedule. Patients deserve to know what they will be paying before they walk into a dental office. It is very concerning when a healthcare provider cannot give straightforward pricing for something as routine as an exam and one x-ray. It creates the impression that the priority is upselling services rather than genuinely helping patients with their dental needs. Dental care is already expensive, and it is disappointing when practices treat dental problems as an opportunity for profit instead of providing honest guidance. This experience makes it very difficult to trust this office with my care. I will be choosing a provider that values integrity, honesty, and clear communication.

We were only there for an evaluation, but the service was quick and the explanation that the surgeon gave us was honest. Also, the ladies at the front desk were very polite and explained all the details and total cost for the procedure. We are satisfied.

Friendly staff- very welcoming! Beautiful office/waiting room with comfortable waiting chairs. Extremely fast service! I went in at 08 to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was checked in in 5 minutes and maybe 2 minutes after that was called back. only took about 3 minutes before I was sound asleep and the whole operation only took about 40 minutes. Super impressed with the work done and the care given. Definitely would recommend going here for any dental needs.

My experience went great because of the dentist and the dental assistant who cleaned my teeth. She was very thorough and made sure to educate me on how to keep my teeth healthy. Put 3 stars because one of the front desk staff was a little rude because she didn’t think I could finish 5 forms on the tablet as quick as I did. Overall 3 stars.

Their staff is caring, kind , and very gentle. They communicate well and what's best for the patient always come 1st! No one does it better!

The staff was so patient and gracious as I was running late and they still allowed me to keep my appointment. With my delay, they let me know I might need to reschedule my cleaning, but I was able to get that too. I did not feel I had as much time with the doctor as I may have liked compared to my old dentist who I had known a very long time, but that also easily could have been because I was late and he was squeezing me in between other patients. At my old dentist office I also had options in my toothpaste flavoring, and I wish they offered more than one flavor. More of a preference than any fault of Oak Valley’s. I can tell the staff care about their patients and create a friendly, warm environment with their interactions. I am glad to have been referred to them!
