Awful dentistry practice. Completed a crown on the WRONG tooth. Acton took no responsibility for the error. No apology, no discount, no refund, no promise of making it right. Never going back to them again. I only used them because they were in my company’s network. I urge you to find a better practice.

The only good thing I can say about this place is the dental hygienist Ms. Katy!! She was very sweet, fast, and professional. My teeth cleaning was the best I’ve ever had. I had a root canal done and my face has been numb for a whole month after the procedure. The dentist who did the procedure for very rude, didn’t speak, didn’t even let me know who he was, asked me a question and literally walked out the room on the middle of me answering him and that sent me. Came back in, gave me the numbing medicine and I literally sat there for A HOUR before anything had been done that my mouth began to come back feeling and I had to get another dose of medicine. Mind you I’m 9 months pregnant and due in 2 weeks at the time. This picture is a day after having the root canal done. I called to see why my face was still swollen and numb and they told me it could last UP TO 2 WEEKS. I had to beg for some medicine in order to help with the swelling which eventually went down 3 weeks later yet my face is STILL NUMB. Now, today, January 6 I called back and they’re telling me it’s normal for my chin and lip to still be numb bc of the block the put in. When I called the first time it was 2 weeks, now it’s normal for it to be a month. "And it will eventually come back". If I didn’t have to go back and get my final product of the root canal I wouldn’t dare go back. And the fact the lady had the audacity to ask me after the procedure was my face swollen or does it just look like that. Girl what!? Last time I’ll go there.

I needed immediate attention for my tooth. They set an appointment for me. They were nice from start to finish. The receptionist that answered the phone to the staff member that helped find it. My nurse assistant and Dr. Lee very nice. I have not had a root canal and crown like this before. Dr Lee is very updated on everything. Nice atmosphere and they worked with me.

I have not been to my appointment yet. This first review is solely regarding the ease of access regarding their online registration process. This has to be one of the BEST ways of registering I have ever experienced. It didn’t take long to complete he online forms. Every question that could be asked is on the online forms. Then once completed I was able to download a copy of the form to make sure all information was correct. Hopefully when I reach my appointment all of the questions they will be asking has already been completed which will cut down on time filling out paper work. So far I am a very pleased patient!!!!!!

Not a toddler friendly dentist, they need more practice on how to care for little patients.

I just had my first cleaning here at Acton and it was very refreshing coming into a clean and professional environment. My hygienist was very skilled and left me very happy and grateful I came. Would definitely recommend!

First decent dentist I've been to in the Birmingham area. The staff are all very nice and helpful, and it never feels like they are trying to pressure you into services that you don't want or need. Prices are very reasonable if you don't have insurance. Highly recommended!
