Another great experience at Falcon Park Dental Group. The dentists here are top notch, super friendly and genuinely seem to care about their patient's health. The rest of the team is also fantastic. Although I didn't see her today I have to give a shout out to Danielle as she's one of the best, if not the best, hygienists you will find anywhere. Thanks again for the great service!
I went in for a first Patient visit and it was a lovely experience! Amy and Rj at reception are absolutely wonderful and are very informed. In charge of my X-rays, cleaning, and paperwork was Shawn, he’s very fast and has a gentle touch. Doctor Stroup is fantastic! She’s very kind and takes the time to explain everything! I would highly recommend this office for the price, the personal, and the quality of care 🙂
I rarely write negative reviews, preferring instead to highlight businesses that provide excellent service. However, after my recent experience at Falcon Dental, I feel compelled to share my concerns so others can make informed decisions. My wife and I have been patients at Falcon Dental for four years since relocating to Denver. While the initial care was satisfactory, we've noticed a marked decline in service quality over the past year, coinciding with staffing changes. Recently, I scheduled a routine exam and cleaning after receiving new insurance cards from our carrier (while maintaining our existing Delta Dental coverage). As an established patient, I was required to complete all intake forms again, which I did promptly. During scheduling, I specifically discussed our insurance with the receptionist, who assured me they would contact me if any issues arose before my appointment. I heard nothing, so I proceeded as scheduled. Upon arrival, I was informed my insurance was "inactive," which was incorrect. Despite explaining that my wife had identical coverage and had recently been seen at the practice, the front desk called the wrong verification number. After I provided documentation from our insurance agent, they finally cross-referenced my wife's account (which should have been standard procedure for linked family accounts) and confirmed my coverage was active. This verification issue could have been resolved with a simple phone call before my appointment. I had rescheduled multiple business meetings to accommodate this appointment. After keeping me waiting for 10 minutes, the staff informed me they would need to reschedule for another day, despite the error being entirely on their end. There was no understanding or desire to accommodate. It is hard to believe that 10 minutes, on an error that was their fault, and without the proper focus ahead of time, could not have been accommodated for an existing patent. The lack of basic customer service, poor communication, and apparent inability to perform routine insurance verification tasks have led both my wife and me to seek care elsewhere. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone based on our recent experience, and I am attempting to help others avoid the same problems.
Going to the dentist is the scariest thing next to public speaking. Maddie and Dr Jones eased me into my 1st visit in 3 years. A fun group of docs and assistants make this a great team. My second visit was a crown and pulpal therapy. Sean Martinez was like Mickey Goldmill in "Rocky", Cheering me up whilst Dr Jones took care of every detail. Overall, you have a neighborhood dental office that's got the heart.
This practice provides outstanding dental care. I have severe PTSD and anxiety about dental visits. I used to require anxiety medication to attend visits. Since going to Falcon Park Dental I no longer need this and no longer hyper-ventilate or get sweaty in the dental chair! My hygienist Angelina is the best! She is knowledgeable, skilled and gentle. She is compassionate and its reassuring to look at her smiling eyes when getting work done. I owe my reduced anxiety to Angelina, Dr. Stroup and Dr. Spooner. They have extended hours making appointments easy to schedule. The new front desk staff is pleasant, welcoming, professional and helpful.
It’s unfortunate that I feel compelled to write this review of Falcon Park Dental, as I have been a patient for over a decade. In hindsight, I should have paid closer attention to the many reviews over the years regarding billing and insurance issues; had I done so, we may not be in this situation. Two days ago, I contacted the office to discuss a recent explanation of benefits (EOB) related to my son’s routine dental visit, as well as an upcoming visit for myself that would require an out-of-pocket expense of $380 for filling a small cavity. During that call, I was told by office staff that "the patient is always responsible for whatever the insurance doesn’t cover." I was also assured that Dr. Ashley Spooner had indicated someone from the billing office would be contacting me. To date, I have not received that call. As a result, I contacted Delta Dental to address what I believe to be questionable billing practices, including bill balancing. Given the lack of follow-up from Falcon Park Dental, I also filed a complaint with DORA. It is truly disappointing that this issue escalated to this point, as it likely could have been resolved—at least in part—through a simple phone call from Dr. Ashley Spooner or a member of her billing staff.
This was a new dental office visit for me. Had a few major issues to take care of. Everyone was upfront with me and explained the procedures and pricing. The first visit was pretty quick considering how much work was to be done. They prioritized the major work first and the minor work to completed after. I found that the staff was professional and friendly. Dr. Stroup and staff were the difference makers for me, she was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, great attitude, gentle, patient focused, ethical, communicated with me every step of the way. I left thinking Dr. Stroup was the crown whisperer. I have never had a crown go in and it perfectly on two different crowns. Amazing job. I usually never leave reviews but wanted to give Dr. Stroub and her staff a shout out.
