Gentle Dental Hayward

The best gentle dental location I’ve been to. They actually take you in on time and are very helpful in explaining procedures and pricing to you. The dentist Dr. Watanabe was very polite and has great bedside manner. He explained everything well and I didn’t feel judged for the state of my oral health. He also was very gentle while doing my cleaning and verbalized every step during the entire process. Scheduling and staff are wonderful and my husband and I will continue to come here!

This was my first appointment with Gentle Dental office. The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating and professional. The hygienist was very pleasant. She was very patient with me. Dr. Lin was very professional and respectful and explained the next steps for my dental care. I totally recommend this dental office.

I was seen recently in this office, I called to try to get some antibiotics since I’m in pain. I spoke to the manager and she said she would call me back when the dentist came in the next day. She never returned my call, this was on a Wednesday.So I called to follow up and again no return call now it’s Friday after 5pm so I will have to go all weekend with no antibiotics and be in pain. Definitely not a good dental office customer service sucks. Apparently they don’t have dentist in the office every day that they are open.

The staff and Dentists are very caring, gentle and non judgemental. I was very comfortable going there and that is a huge compliment considering I can't stand dentists and going to a dental office. I have very high anxiety and they put m at ease almost immediately . I would definitely recommend Gentle Dental to anyone looking to see a dentist.

I have an enormous fear of going to the dentist. I still go, but my anxiety is always through the roof. Most of it comes from childhood dental trauma—dating myself here. I remember having a tooth pulled with nowhere near enough painkiller, and feeling both the pressure and pain of the drill. Back then, the dentists in my neighborhood were pretty detached from their patients, which only made it worse. After today’s visit I feel far more at ease. I appreciate how gentle both the hygentist and the Dentist were. I left with a renewed sense of peace. My Dentist was very informative. They’ve made coming back for my routine care a pleasure not a pain.

My boyfriend has been seeing by dr li for 2 years and has had a great experience witch dr li. Mikayla the front desk staff is very helpful she helped me schedule for a cleaning and when I get my dental work done I also will be starting ortho thanks mikayla for your kindness you make the experience worth it! You definitely are in the right job your customer service is amazing

One star is too much for this dental office, the receptionist is a rude and disrespectful. Was asked to change three seats, waited for 20mins just sitting there, if I didn’t ask about the time they wouldn’t even let me know that the wait can be up to another hour and a half. At least have some respect for others peoples time taken off work just to go there. Please do not waste your time here.
