Dr. Yoon K. Tak, DMD

Dr. Tak and the entire staff are truly AMAZING. From the moment we walk in, they go above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and at ease. My son struggles with anxiety, and what really sets this office apart is that they actually take the time to talk to him, listen to him, and acknowledge what he has to say. They never rush him or dismiss his feelings, which means the world to us as parents. Everyone in the office is so kind and helpful. There is a girl at the front desk who always wears glasses and has light-colored hair; I didn’t catch her name, but she is consistently welcoming, genuinely kind, and incredibly helpful every single visit. She always greets us warmly and makes the experience start off on such a positive note. We used to go to Jefferson Dental, and the difference is night and day. At our old dentist, as soon as my son became anxious or started asking questions, the dentist would simply walk out, hand him a toothbrush, and end the visit. The last day that I went, I was told they weren’t going to treat him that way after waiting in the lobby for two hours, because they couldn’t get him to relax. My son had a little incident today after school, and Dr. Tak was kind enough to squeeze him in the same day. I am beyond grateful for that. I know it was later in the day and close to closing time, yet Dr. Tak took the time to make sure everything was okay before we left the office and helped my son and I feel more calm, which I appreciate so much. We never once felt rushed out the door and it was just a pleasant experience as always. Overall, this office is incredible. I recommend Dr. Tak and her staff to everyone; especially to the parents with children who are afraid of going to the dentist. If I could give them 100 stars, I absolutely would, but since I can’t, 5 stars it is! Thank you girls for everything that you do ❤️

We always have such a great experience at this pediatric dental office. The staff is incredibly kind and patient, and they always make my child feel comfortable and at ease the entire visit now that he’s a teenager they talk directly to him the whole visit making it more personal Dr. Yoon explained everything clearly and truly knows how to work with kids. I highly recommend this office to any parent!

I had great experience with Dr. Yoon Tak when I took my daughter for her dental cleaning and checkup. The dental care from the staff and Dr. Tak was exceptional. Furthermore Dr. Tak made sure all our questions were answered and we didn’t feel rushed. I highly recommend this dental clinic to any parent looking for a good pediatric dentist.

My son has been with Dr. Tak and team since he was 6 months old. The customer service is unmatched. Everyone is friendly and genuinely happy to do their jobs. Dr. Tak always gives great advice and prepares us for changes that are to come between visits. We consider ourselves blessed to be clients. #Grateful

Dr. Tak is one of the best dentists my children has ever had. Both of sons are Autistic and she handles them with so much care and always giving such great feedback. We love her and her staff!

Dr. Tak is an amazing dentist! She takes her time with explaining dental care with my teen daughter and provide her feedback regarding dental braces. She also stay to talk about school, summer, and future plans. Not all medical providers do that nowadays, most of them seem to be rushing in and out to see patients. Her front desk staffs and hygienist are also awesome and friendly! Highly recommended if anyone needs a new dental clinic for their child.
