I’ve been a patient at New Life Dental for over 2 years now and am very happy with the care I receive. Dr Cho is patient and thorough when explaining treatments. All staff are kind and helpful from the front desk to the assistants. Malia does a great job with regular cleanings. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Cho for my dental care for many years so does my husband. Dr. Cho is caring, kind, has excellent bedside manners and all around great at being my dentist. Believe me, this is coming from someone who was apprehensive when it came to dental care but not anymore. Additionally, the staff at the front desk, the dental hygienists and assistants are all respectful, gentle and do a great job at taking care of your whole dental health. I recommend this practice100 percent.

I was looking to get into an appointment quickly due to cracked tooth. I was referred here by an old friend. Receptionist was pleasant and was able to get me in fairly quick. Check in was is since the paperwork was sent ahead of time. Had a brief wait once in office. Atmosphere is nice. Support staff are nice and informative and the doc is great! I took some extra cards for my friends and family 🙂

Dr. Cho has been my dentist for over 3 years now. He and the entire staff are wonderful. They do high quality work while being friendly and professional - and efficient! My recent appointment for extraction of a wisdom tooth couldn't have gone smoother. After being numbed up, Dr. Cho had my tooth out in literally one minute - I was in and out of the office in under an hour total. I didn't expect to be pleasantly surprised by a tooth extraction!

**CASH PATIENTS BEWARE!! READ BEFORE SCHEDULING!!** -edit 02/09/26- I am still awaiting my full records to be sent to me - only my latest xrays were sent. I am finalizing my complaint with the MD Dental Board once my records are received on my end. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB after the reply from the business owner. Giving appointment ultimatums, pressuring a pregnant patient into xrays, and wanting to charge the patient for the xrays despite not having them done is not how a dental office should conduct themselves. -ORIGINAL POST- I was scheduled for my routine cleaning on 04/05/2026 with Malia who is a PHENOMENAL hygienist (She is so knowledgeable, gentle, and has amazing bedside manner!). I had called the office mid-January to get a price and was given the copay of $115 for a cleaning with no exam. I was then called a couple hours prior to my appointment to let me know that I could only keep my appointment if I did a cleaning AND an exam. I was hesitant to keep my appointment since I did not enjoy the doctor's bedside manner at my previous appointment (very anxious to get back to his other patients, very brief, and told me he was having a bad day). I asked what the copay would be and was given the price $195. I decided to keep my appointment since I was due for my 6 month cleaning. I was then called AGAIN an hour before my appointment to let me know that my new copay would be $250!! I asked why my copay went up again to which I was informed that the doctor wanted to charge me for an exam, the cleaning, and xrays. I AM CURRENTLY 8.5 MONTHS PREGNANT AND INFORMED THE OFFICE OF THIS AHEAD OF TIME. I mentioned that I would be deferring xrays since I am currently pregnant, however the front desk stood firm that my copay was $250 even without xrays. I promptly asked for my records and am taking my business elsewhere. I am frankly disgusted by this mistreatment. I am filing a complaint to the Maryland dental board for the fraudulent behavior (charging services that would not be rendered) and mistreatment of a pregnant patient.

My first hand experience under the care of Dr.Cho and his friendly staff could be summarized in two words: professionalism & dedication. Considering he's a young and rising dental professional in the area, I would highly recommend anyone, near and far in the DMV area as well as someone visiting the area, to be put under his care for any of your dental needs. In addition, Dr. Cho & Company did a really fine job with the office space which makes you feel welcomed and safe. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I have been coming here for two or three years now. Malia has been our hygienist and she is amazing, especially with kids. She puts up with my daughter’s 101 questions. My daughter LOVES coming here, which is telling (I always hated the dentist as a child.) 🙂 I also love that they aren’t pushy with services. My mom recently starting coming here as well and I will say, if they recommend something, it truly is because you need it! 🙂
