TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre of North Texas

Was referred to TMJ & Sleep Therapy from my dentist. Dr Sam took the time to understand my situation (snoring and TMJ) and explain the treatment plan. Not going to lie, it’s not cheap. However, the happiness of my wife and the quality of my sleep were worth the expense. The results are transformational. My sleep quality is better and so is my snoring. TMJ staff is kind and always pleasant. Highly recommend.

I had a FANTASTIC experience! I came in for severe sleep apnea and snoring! I did the laser for my palate and they recommended the right orthotic device to eliminate my sleep apnea. My wife has never been so happy!! 😊 They were very thorough with their assessment and intentional with follow up visits. I wake up refreshed every morning! The staff is so kind and encouraging. I can not thank them enough! I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5+ STARS

My experience with Suhail dental assistant was amazing. He took the time to explain and fit my oral appliance properly. Dr Sam has saved my life! I was hesitant about the oral appliance and after trying everything in the sun I was referred to see Dr Sam. I wake up refreshed. I highly recommend and give all the staff a five star.

I’ve had some form of TMJ for years but it’s only now started to cause issues and damage to my teeth, jaw joint, and even discovered that I have a deviated septum. During their evaluation process, the found that it was causing me to breathe more through my mouth which exaggerated my dry mouth, and worsened my teeth’s health, and the amount of grinding I unconsciously do, both day and at night. Basically, I was doing a lot and receiving just as much information. Jaleesa was with me from start to finish. She helped to make me feel more comfortable while being poked and prodded, like at most doctor’s, and we seemed to have some things in common, which is always nice when being in an unfamiliar place, doing unfamiliar tests. They convinced me to take some steps towards addressing my issues, and I will be seeing them every-so often for the next 3 months. All the staff were great, but I do hope to see Jaleesa again. Overall, the staff, cleanliness, and atmosphere make going back a no-brainer. 5/5 from me 👍🏼

Dr. Shaw, Jalisa- Dr. assistant, and Tee- front desk admin were all so welcoming and great to work with. It was my first visit and I highly recommend coming if you are experiencing jaw pain. The team gave me multiple thorough exams and I’m now going to get tested for sleep apnea. I didn’t realize how the two correlate but relieved I’ll get answers soon! Would definitely recommend. They were patient and understanding, they explained everything. When I asked to take something home to explain to my husband because it was a lot of information, she spoke with my husband on the phone and explained it again.
