I had a great experience with Alyssa, at checkout. She was friendly, helpful, and very professional. She made the process smooth and pleasant, and her positive attitude really stood out. Excellent customer service!

Guard at the front of the store who checks everyone’s receipts super strictly every time we go had a line waiting today but let his friends pass - an older white couple - who just said we will show it next time. Sorry but what is this kind of privilege and with how strict you normally are, you let acquaintances go by without checking if they took anything (presumption being rest of us are stealing, at a WALMART). I call BS and trying to get ahold of the manager still to submit this complaint - seems basic but it’s discriminatory.

I went into this Walmart to pick up an online order. My online order was a great deal and that is why I went to this particular store which is very far from my home. I decided to take a look inside this Walmart superstore and I was surprised to see that the prices for many things I buy are higher than I am used to at my other regular stores. Maybe it's because this Walmart is located in an affluent neighborhood.

The store was great! It’s usually very busy most days, but I understand being understaffed has that effect. The people there try their best and it shows. These bad reviews aren’t doing the store or its workers justice.

Was shopping this evening when an employee almost rammed into me while pushing what seemed to be a very tall cart, roughly 5-5 and a half feet tall. Was not paying attention and swerved around a corner very fast, almost slammed into me and my wife. Management needs to tell the employees to slow down and teach spatial awareness, which there seemed to be lacking. Unacceptable, will likely lose my business over this. Additionally, the employee was wearing earbuds so when I told them to slow down they didn’t even acknowledge me. Do better, Walmart of beautiful Encinitas, the community counts on you!

About ten minutes ago I purchased items at this store at self checkout using my EBT card. I asked the person monitoring the area if I was supposed to mark that I was taking a bag in the system since I was using EBT she told me yes so I did. I was then charged for the bag which is illegal per California law. I then said to the attendant that I was charged and her response was what do you want. I replied that I wanted Walmart NOT to be breaking the law and my 10 cents back. She responded that they couldn't refund a bag charge then proceeded to stand up from sitting down and dig through her pocket for a dime proceeding to demean me in the process. She didn't have a dime which I wouldn't have taken because it was BEYOND demeaning how she was treating an EBT user. Walmart tomorrow morning I will be reporting your store to Californias welfare abuse hotline. It is NOT about the dime it is about your employees having the AUDACITY to treat me in the manner in which she did. It was uncalled for.

I got out easily today! The workers were fast and got me out of the store quickly. The remodel makes the store easier to navigate.
