I am writing this on my teenage son’s behalf after an exceptional experience at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists. We specifically researched and decided on Dr. Dana Jensen, and he lived up to his reputation. Dr. Jensen is professional, amazing, and soft-spoken; he explained everything clearly and answered every question we had regarding the procedure. The efficiency was incredible—he removed two fully erupted top wisdom teeth and two horizontal impacted ones in less than 40 minutes under general anesthesia. The recovery was just as smooth; my son was pain-free by the second day using the provided ice pack and post-op instructions. The prescription was sent directly to the pharmacy, making the whole process seamless. His recovery was so fast that he was able to attend his first year of college just three days after surgery! I also loved the office layout, which includes a discreet side door to wheel patients out to the car. Tarah, the receptionist, was a pleasure to deal with and clearly explained our insurance coverage. I've also had the pleasure to deal with Nora (over the phone) and she was a sweetheart. While they require an appointment security fee over the phone, it is applied directly to the procedure. From the text reminders to the expert care, we are so glad we chose Dr. Jensen!

While on vacation I started experiencing extreme sensitivity and a throbbing sensation on my bottom right wisdom tooth (32). Upon returning from my trip, I scheduled an emergency appointment with Luc Dental Care. An x-ray confirmed a large cavity in my wisdom tooth. I was immediately referred to Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists for a tooth extraction. I spoke with a friendly representative at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists who was able to schedule a next day consultation and oral surgery. The following day I arrived to a group of friendly employees at the front desk that greeted me. Since I filled out the intake form prior to the appointment, I was only seated for two minutes before being ushered to the back. An employee took my blood pressure, administered an x-ray, and informed me that the surgeon would be with me shortly. Shortly after Dr. Fries entered the room and introduced himself. He gave me an overview of the procedure that would be conducted, asked if I had any questions, and then started a short video that informed me about post-extraction care. After the video concluded, I was ushered to another room where Dr. Fries and an employee began administering the local anesthesia. Roughly 10 minutes later, after confirming that the anesthesia had kicked in, Dr Fries began the procedure. Throughout the procedure Dr. Fries and the employee did a great job of communicating what was happening (the wisdom tooth was very stubborn in coming out) and verifying that I was not in pain (although there was slight discomfort). Three days later, strictly following the post-extraction rules, I have no pain (thankfully)…thank you Dr. Fries and the rest of the Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists team!

Easy sign-in, short wait. The consultation was thorough and informative. They had an immediate opening so I elected to have the recommended extractions done right then. The procedure was much easier than I had expected. Some discomfort as expected but no pain. Excellent post procedure instructions and materials. I had been dreading this for quite a while but Dr Jensen and his team made it easy. A great weight off of my shoulders.

The oral surgeon explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease. They completed the procedure quickly and efficiently and at a fraction of the cost I expected! The customer service was outstanding, and everyone truly went above and beyond to help. Thank you so much for your amazing care and compassion!

Great experience getting my wisdom teeth taken out at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists in Elk Grove. From my consultation visit to the actual surgery, the entire staff was extremely friendly, and I felt very at ease going into the procedure. The procedure was super quick, and the Sac Valley team took good care of me the entire time. I would highly recommend anyone needing to do to a dental specialist to go here, as it was a 10/10 experience thanks to the whole team at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists.

My mother had a broken tooth extracted by Dr. Fries. Scheduling an appointment with Elk Grove Sacramento Valley Dental Specilaist is very easy and straightforward. The dental staff who answered my call, Tarah, was very helpful and explained everything. The web link she sent to fill up including my mother's health and dental history was very easy to utilize. This also included a couple of consent form and HIPAA forms. My mother was initially seen for a dental surgery consultation. However, Dr. Fries was able to extract the broken tooth the same day. The post op homecare was very straightforward. Another dental staff, Aubrey, went over what kinds of food my mother should eat for a couple of days. Jaime, the dental staff who initially took X-rays of my mother's teeth was also very helpful, accommodating, and extremely helpful. Everyone at this DENTAL SURGERY CLINIC is very professional and excellent at what they do. I would definitely ask my own dentist to refer me to EG-Sac. Valley Dental Specialist if I needed a tooth extraction my dental office could not handle.

What a great experience! I had to get my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Amir Nojoumi was awesome. Made me feel comfortable and informed me what would be done. I was SO nervous ! But I walked out so happy and relieved . My husband saw Dr Eckard to remove 3 wisdom teeth. He also had a great experience. Wonderful practice and staff. Highly recommend
